[Q]Android-system 29% of Battery JVQ

Hi,
I recently updated my phone to JVQ but now i'm having a battery drain. The cause (i think) is the high percentage of the android-system. By now its 29% and that's alot. I already deleted the programe software-updater so that can't be the trouble maker anymore. Does someone has a fix for this?
Greetings

Yeah....let your battery go completely dead, then try turning on to make sure its dead
Leave your phone off and then plug in charger until its full, then unplug and plug in again to make sure its full
Repeat these steps 2-3 times and it should be all fixed for you
Also....using titanium backup, freeze the program called "Samsung account" that's another culprit in the "battery drain crisis"

I have already done that a few times, friend of mine has completely the same setup as i have and my battery is down twice as fast. Maybe it's the battery itself?

Is your phone rooted??
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
Yes, using deodexed stock jvq rom and speedmod k15-t24. Using black background screen dimmed, and everything to make my battery life the best but it doesn't make it one day. So maybe there is a bug?

Try going back to stock froyo, and flashing cfroot kernel so your phone is rooted but not deodexed or any other mods, then repeat the cycle and see if it gets better that way.

Just flash froyo and then repeat the cycle so i don't need to stay a day or so on froyo?

You'll need to be on froyo for about a week or just over, just until you've repeated the cycle 2-3 times bud

Usually doing 2-3 charging cycles does the trick (fully deplete battery and then charge until full).

nAa 08b +miniCM7 battery charging problem

I'm using MiniCM7 on top of his kernel and no bugs for me except battery.. If battery reaches 15% phone will shut down soon... battery will drain in few moments and battery icon will get into "drained icon" (that red one with x in the middle)...
I connected my charger and phone is not charging... But, I didn't realized that...
Offline charging works for now and we will see
I think battery stats wipe will solve it.... I just have wiped it.. but battery is ****...
Phone is now exactly one year old... I hope it just was my fault because I rearly fully charge my phone...
Anyone had similiar expiriences? I don't trust my battery now....
Try with your stok kernel and rom

did you wiped battery stats in cwm? If not charge the battery to full first.go to cwm.wipe it under advanced.reboot phone.let the battery drain out.then charge to full again continuously.
You can use battery calibration from playstore also for the same purpose.
Swyped To Help.
Okay I will try that...when u say let battery drain out do u mean I can still use it until its very low or until its un useable? Thanx Mr

yes, use it until it turns off and then put on charging and full charge it, if possible then in switched off mode only, repeat this for 2-3 cycles, it's best way to calibrate battery.
Recommended to follow this whenever you flash new rom.

I've not yet wiped batt stats yet but I going to give it full charges and let it run out and really charge again and see if that helps. Reason why is I never normally full charge it...I just charge it half way at times so maybe my battle might not need calibration.

Changing rom does not effect although flashing new firmware. I found somewhere in this forum like this problem and they repaired by changing USB port.
