Hi there, I know this should be in the asylum development thread but I don't have enough posts to put it there.
I am loving the stability and speed of asylum running at 240dpi, but I freely miss the circle battery icon (especially the one with the snazzy flashing charging component seen on the crash roms).
I've tried to flash a few that I've found that say they are for cm9, but they result in the stars bar ui crashing
Anyone know of any working links to preferably blue circle battery mods?
Cheers

Thanks
Will that definitely work on asylum (which is CM9 based)?
Cheers

In case anyone stumbles on this thread, the answer is download a partial theme that only themes the battery icon. I use PCS Domination, both on cm9 and cm10

I'm running cm7 and wanted to see what themes people had applied. I like the customization of miui but cm7 is faster for me, and smoother.

That thread is for all screenshots including computers
Just thought I'd share this cool little tweak that Jmotyka has been working on for the Thunderbolt.
Original thread: Center Clock & Transparent StatusBar WIP
After downloading:
1. Boot to recovery
2. Nandroid (recommended)
3. Flash zip
4. Enjoy!
NOTE: I'm not sure if the transparent status bar works since I flashed this on top of the CM7 WizMod theme. Clock works perfect though!
BUG: Notifications that contain messages/phrases may overlap the clock.
Nice thanks for this

Actually, the developer is definitely still supporting this mod (it was updated today), but it would seem that he has moved to a different forum. Also, I'm not sure that I'm comfortable posting a link to his work here, if he prefers to no longer have an affiliation with xda...
but, if you were to google search the title of his original thread, you'd probably find it pretty quick.
^^^^°I agree with you 100%....its takes 1 minute to hit the thanks button ans post a thank-you reply... so here's a thank-you from me to you for you neat mod.....keep up the good development bud

Hi,
is there a "patch" or an update that i can install on the galaxy ace that shown the battery percent usage - on the right side (instead of the original battery icon) ?
Hello,
If you're using a CM7 ROM, you can display it my friend (CM settings, interface, status bar tweaks, battery status style)!!

56 posts in xda and still don't know cm7 roms strange things
if you don't want to show percentage in battery icon then install some small widget apps from market which enables you to show percentage as widget
Great
found it
thanks a lot
You can find them in development thread. There are lots of ROMs in there! Pick the one you like the best!

Hi. Does anyone know/have a file i could use to flash to have a circular battery?
Or any ways to have it??...
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA App
Rom toolbox app in the market has an option to change battery icon but I believe you have to buy the app.
Didnt try it so I cant attest it will work but the option is there.
There are several ways to figure it out. Google uotkitchen. You can get the circular battery icon as you desire. Plenty of different choices according to your taste. But you should upload three of your system files cause uotkitchen recently doesn't have galaxy note roms as choice yet. Another method is using Jkay deluxe. You can find it here on XDA in themes section. You can set circular battery icon on software settings this way. There are many more options for it. But most of them are specific to rom you are using

Thanks for the advice, i was already aware of the uotkitchen but as you said, it does not support the SGN, so i didnt really wanna mess with it.. But if i would upload the files and install it to my system, and if ever i would like to return back to the stock battery design what should i do?
I also saw that alot of custom roms change it into circular/percent
design but i do not want to change the whole rom. So ill give uotkitchen a try. Thanks..
UOT is compatible with the Note. No issues so far.
+1 to that!
So, I've flashed to PA 1.3 on my Note... where do I find those awesome wallpapers from that are on the screenshot images of the paranoid android thread in the original dev forum.
Cheers all.

This was such an old app introduced back when ICS was fresh and people never payed much attention to I see. I've seen that question so many times asking how do I get the PA wallpapers on the screen shots. It was an official Google App the entire time. I was like why are people acting brand new about it. It was meant for fun and a way to create silly looking avatars for yourself and contacts.
