I recently bought an galaxy ace GT-S5839i... I have two question about that version of this galaxy ace.
Is the GT-S5839i and the GT-S5830i are the same phone? Can i use the GT-S5830i's rom ?

U should try cwm for gt-s5830i not the one you tried. Different hardware in these two phones but the 5830i is closer to yours. If you cannot install it on sdcard you should flash your phone with odin 1.85 with stock firmware. Good luck

there is a big chance of bricking it.. they don't have the same hardware.. and please, next time, do a search first before opening new threads.. check this helpful links for mini/pop plus:

hey S5360 ODIN won't detect S5570......
it detects the phone s5570 in odin s5360,,, i have tried it,, but havn't flash it yet,,,
check out sammobile.com there is odin for s5570i same as s5360,,, odin detects my s5570 galaxy mini too
I suggest not to flash S5570I ROM to S5570..... It has different hardware.....
A friend of mine have tried this and ended with bricked his phone....

Because i bricked my phone 2 days ago, and it was not the same flash back the phone like s5570.
Now its work fine, but i would ask before i will make a mistake;
Wich file i need for Cwm, and for ICs. Please help.

Don't. The risk of bricking is very high. The S5570I is much more similar to the Galaxy Y(oung).

if you got the L you can flash by the S5570 method
can you give me a tutorial? i only find tuto to make cwm via odin, but its not good because in this tuto it use v. 4.38 but i can only use odin 3 v1.8, because its the L version.

i have not seen any tutorials or good information so far here. is there a way to ROOT and install a new ROM onto my SAMSUNG GALAXY GT-5839i ? i have seen the procedure for a S5830 , but im not sure if that will work on my phone anyway knows if something can be done to my phone so i can have it rooted?
You should have a different forum. Don't use anything from the dev section since you will break your phone nothing here except for the apps is compatible with aces other than s5830.

Bro, this is Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 thread. You should post your question in the respective device thread. Using any roms/ kernels in this thread can hard brick your phone. Anyway here is the links to stable ICS and Jellybean roms for Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830

I think you massed up custom rom of s5830 with s5830i so you need to flash Stock GB DDKQ8 ..

NO!
If the phone is 'i' or 'C' that will brick it.
At OP check the back of your phone, where the battery is. If its 5830 i, C, or M go to the 5830i forum to get what you need. Flashing stuff for 5830 will brick your phone.
as i can see your phone is a gt-s5830i version
so if possible u need to download a stock rom for gt-s5830i from your country from sammobile.com
then reflash your phone with that #after flash wipe data
