I ve opened some apk but i haven t idea what i can do..the exchange of images requires a specifical istruction that i haven't. For this reason i looking for some programs like uot kitchen..it is for amateurs XD
by samsung gt-s5570 using tapatalk
not actually for amateurs you will need a little bit understanding before using it
but easy way is opening apk with winrar (or anything else)
going to res folder and then replacing pics from drawable-ldpi, drawable-mdpi, drawable-hdpi folders and then recompressing it if necessary sign it then install it and you are done

don't works
Probably it needs motoblur framework.
But you can download a lot of free dlna client-server form market (ex: iMediaShare)

bubbleupnp works with latest CM 7.1 rom in dev section: it's free and have a nice gui
in my test "server" side is a centos 5.5 with mediatomb

yes it is.
both P690 and C660 have the LG UI 2.0....and also the E510 has it.
the problem is that the c660 has a lower resolution.

Hi guys! I have a quick question about deodexing. If I deodex a stock app (the ones that came with TouchWiz and require its framework), the will run on CM7 (in other words, it removes the tw-framework requirement)?
If not, how can I 'port' these apps, remove that firmware requirement?
Thanks!
No,it wont work,if i am understanding you correctly...
It will not work.

Trying to explain a little better: I want to remove the tw-framework dependency. If deodexing don't to this, what does? What I can do?
Decompile all apps, twframework and start editing smali and xml. It seems like quite a job, and I wish you the best of lucks.
Where to edit and which files exactly? No idea, have to look at the code and follow the references to twframework.

If I copy the twframework files to an Cyanogen system, it would work, then?
Seems a lot more easier!

No. It aint that easy bro! Samsung has made it very very tough to port!
No one has been able to port whole twframework on XDA till now!

Well, I didn't meant to port the entire framework anyway. The only thing that keeps me from using CM all the time is the lack of some stock apps, and the ports I've found weren't good enough to my taste. (yes, I'm a d*ck when it comes to quality, it HAS to be perfect, otherwise it won't do)
I guess I'll just stay with the stock ROM. Thanks guys!

Hi at all guys
I'm writing this to ask to someone that can modify...improve (if is possible) the basic apps of our jb..like contacts, dialer, sms app, keyboard..that in my opinion...are TOO SLOW :crying:
Dialer, contacts and sms are very slow in opening and scroll and in general too laggy. The keyboard is slow during composition...I know that there are many, many apps that i can use instead of those but I want to keep my phone lighter than possible.
My old i5500 had stock app that were 10000000 times faster (600 mhz single core with 128 mb ram :good than ours.
If there is someone that can do something....let's come forward!
All will be happy :highfive:

For sms I use CM10 mms.apk for a long time. It is very good. Sadly for Dialer there is no fix unless you use third party app like exdialer.

You need to remove secmms.apk from system/app. And if you are not deodexed secmms.odex too. And to push this in system/app.
Make nandroid backup before, just in case. After pushing mms.apk reboot. It might not show before reboot.

If you just google and learn try it yourself. It's more of a challenge and an educating process.
I've started last month with a systemui mod and in a month I've learned to build a ROM and I just did.
Everybody here started as a newbie, and we all needed to learn stuff. So go ahead and give it ur best

In my opinion, CoCore E 8.1 is the best kernel right now... it does help in providing excellent battery life and gaming performance.. But yeah, I'm not using HarshJelly... I'm using Sami OS 1.0... but still you can give 8.1 a try.. its great :good:
