Thanks

At this time, you can pick up one of these from Gamestop:
http://www.gamestop.com/android/accessories/tablet-wireless-bluetooth-controller/97838
But I saw these that will be out in about a month:
http://www.gamestop.com/android/accessories/nyko-play-pad-controller-black/104100
http://www.gamestop.com/android/accessories/nyko-playpad-pro-tablet-controller/104098
Happy hunting.
Thanks, looks great! Just need to get GameStop Sweden to stock it!
I've tried lots of off brand bt controllers and they simply feel cheap on don't respond well. I eventually broke down and did the PS3 method and been happy ever since.
The sixaxis app used with the PS3 controllers also let you dedicate buttons to screen areas so it works with more non controller games. Food for thought.

I enjoy playing old games on long abandoned Platforms and thats part of the reason i went for the Note II, with a strong processor and large Screen. But most of the Games the Touchcontrols are simply inadequate in my experience and so for a long time now i have been looking for a suitable Gamepad for my phone.
I prefer ones that hold the phone securely and keep it portable. I enjoy the iControlpad 2 quite a lot, but the release for people who didnt donate to Kickstarter is still a long time off and i was wondering, are there alternatives to it?
If possible with Dual Analog Nubs, Shoulder Buttons and such features?
Would love to hear your findings and oppinions!

The Gameklip should work, but i find it unnecessarily bulky and the Steelseries pad has no clip for the Note 2, which is sad, since it looks rather nice in all other aspects.

Maybe Moga controller may fit the bill?

Im honestly looking for something smaller, more compact, not much chunkier than the phone itself.
But i guess the iControlpad 2 really is the only choice for me then.
Thanks to everyone anyway!

Gametel isn't big enough to hold GN2
I second the MOGA, I got it for Christmas and love it. Sounds like it might be for you. www.powera.com/moga Most best buys have them on display, at least near me they do, if you want to check one out. There are some YouTube videos on it too.
Incorrectly spelled on my stock rooted Sprint Note II
What is that you're using? Gameklip doesnt have a specific klip for the GN2, just the universal sticky/case. Only the GS3 has a klip.

So I droped my Nexus 7 on a ground. Screen cracked. Srceen is OK but digitizer not working. I ordered new 1 today with 3G. I want to make a project out of broken one. I was planning installing it in a car. Could control it via BT mini keyborad/touchpad and/or ps3 controller for gaming while waiting + control with NFC tags. But I'd need to remove cracked glass with heater and place some plastic screen on top. I'm good with soldering. Other project suggestions also wellcome. Maby anyone done any project and could share tips and tricks.

BECAUSE YOUR MEANT TO BE DRIVING !!!!
However, I think it would be a great idea for Sat Nav etc.
Seriously, I don't understand some people that pay 250/300$ for a Sat Nav.
BUY A NEXUS, INSTALL IT !!! BOOM.
Sat Nav, Music Player, Internet Browser, touch screen....what could be better?!
If I was looking for a satnav, I'd buy a second nexus...

Friend,
how about lag?
Is it ok?
It is really ok. Streaming videos and other stuff is super quick. Only when playing games such as real racing 3 there is lag and problems with picture sharpness, but I didn't bought it for games. I have samsung keyboard with mouse pad so I wanted to use it as pc. But this with multi widnow makes me angry.

Im gonna have to look into this on my tv.
I have the Verizon note 2 and I just tried it. No it doesn't work. I held down the back button and got nothing on the TV or phone. I turned off cast and worked as normal.
A work around would be nice. I can't imagine why that would be disabled.

Allshare cast is samsungs name for miracast. You can get cheap dongles that support this plus aircast and dlna £24 on ebay

Not for me
I have it and it works great with my daughter's stock Note II.
My Note II with CM; not so much.
At least it was cheap.
I don't really see the need, if you connect to wifi with the phone tv, or blue ray you can stream all day without issue.

I agree I am loving the chrome cast it works with phone, tablet, and laptop

Allshare dongle is overpriced. Chromecast is multi platform and thus can be used with all your tablets/smartphones and computers.
So i was watching tv with my phone head facing towards the tv. I received a phone call and boom, the TV muted automatically. I tried it multiple times with the same result every time
Was this a known feature coz i've never seen or heatd about it before

Yeah. I knew about it. But the ir blaster has to be facing the TV.
Isn't this only a feature in smart remote? I didn't think it was built into sense.

thought so too... well known feature.
So I am on a custom rom (Stock w/Goodies), but it is a sense ROM, and as far as I know, has a stockish kernel. I, being the hard headed person I am, downloaded the sixaxis compatibility checker app, and paired my PS3 controller. It worked. So I bought the sixaxis app, fired up dead trigger, and I am able to play with the controller. I thought this was impossible on the One, and most HTC devices, due to their bluetooth stack.

seems like 4.3 update added support because i to was trying to do it on 4.1 and it failed so i decided to try it a few days ago to load-up some psp roms and it worked perfectly
Oh ****, now I'm going to flash a 4.3 Rom and kick ass in Modern Combat 4. Got tired of them jerks beating me badly because I had to use the lame touch screen controls!

You're welcome. Lol. I figured there had to be some other people here that would be pleased to know.
QUICK! Before this thread dies! Is there any way to connect the DS3 to the One with no root?! How about Bluetooth?
If so, how do I go about doing this?

I used the sixaxis app from the market and did the initial paring using the PC utility as I don't have an OTG cable. That worked for me.

I used an OTG cable with the sixaxis app and everything worked including bluetooth. Dont know if it makes a difference but I used the original controller without rumble.

I've been using a DS3, so it shouldn't matter what one you use.
I can pair using sixaxis but it's nowhere near as good as the Asus transformer with dock you can just plug and play lol
