[Root]pre rooted fw:587 - Xperia Arc Android Development

i unpack system.sin and add root but dont know how to repack it, need help

You're at wrong forum, should be in Q&A section.
And I do not know any way to repack it right now. That's why we do not have any prerooted FTF files.

[Q] new firmware XXLA1

I was going to ask this question in development thread but due to being new here wasn't allowed.
There is a *.pit file with this new firmware N7000 XXLA1. Is there no need to use it when flashing with pc odin (pda=code, phone=modem, csc=multicsc).?
if you had posted in the dev section your post would have been moved as you are asking a question not developing for the note
have you looked thru the various la1 threads in the dev section?

No, you dont need to select pit file
+1 (Richy99)
You could've asked this question (if you had more than 10 posts) in the Dev section under the XXKLA1 thread, but you can't create a new thread for it. Just to be clear
Cheers guys..running the new firmware. Yes i read the posts about the new firmware in the dev( thanks dr.). As i only looked at kl7 and kl8 before which didnt have a pit file i was curious what difference it would make if i included it(also read up on pit files in this forum - not that im much more clued up about them now tho). Post #5 - i will reach 10 soon. Thanks

Pit file is partition index table file, only needed when you have to select're partition'. And this shudn't b select unless special instruction provided, lots of device bricked by this.
ok i understand! Thanks doc!
I still have to post here as i do not have 10 posts yet.
I just flashed my galaxy note to KK9 and rooted it successfully.
installed mobile odin and tried flashing it with LA1 (open file, code...)
phone rebooted and did a few things and the this happened:
in small green writing ('logo_q1.jpg' draw failed) - can't start the phone or anything - it just returns to this.
I can get back into download mode and i assume i can reflash with a firmware
Please can you help?! What went wrong

i'm waiting too
downgrade + OTA survival ?
Did you try to downgrade, root, set OTA survival and reflash .253?
EDIT: Doesn't work.
As eager as you're to root, this is not the forum to post in. This is a development forum so please use the Q & A from next time.
If i update my 350 via ota to 434 and after to 253 i lose the root?

So from your perpsective, rooting methods and tools should be posted in Q&A ? Asking for a rooting tool in Q&A, no devs will ever see it.
You see, there are rules we need to follow. A development forum is where a developer or a contributor posts. Requests are entertained in the Q&A only. Also, if someone does manage to root the new firmware, it'll be up on the development forum. I have nothing against requests, just try to keep the forums organised.

Don't understand the fix reboot part
only create the file with notepad named "install-recovery.sh" and put it into the path in the flashable zip?

Are you talking about this 3?
1) flash a FTF ending in 534 (Find the files and instructions int he mega collection thread in the general section)
2) Install Dual Recovery (Find the files in the dual recovery thread in the cross device development section)
3) Install the 757 pre rooted ROM of your choice (Find the files and instructions in the development section)
....they are vary difficult to find, mate!
solution please
classic or modern ,solution please
classic/modern?
Not sure what you mean by that
but you have pointed in the right direction above, that's the easiest way to root a 757 FW
