ty tema

Did wipe the data.. nothing happened. Uninstalled the updates then again it was updated to 3.7.15 not 3.8

A quick search on internet will lead you in a few seconds to an apk that you install manually.
Here for example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1803316

Finally did as u said, installed the latest apk sadly there's no app showing up in my apps tab. So cant update any of my apps

Here is the link for latest update 3.10.14
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1854528&d=1364959789
To update either install as normal apk or push into system/app replace phonesky.apk and change its permission to r-w-r-r .. It worked for me..

[Market]Google Play v3.4.7 fixed DPI

Made this for people who use custom DPI like myself
I set 240 threw the market app so you wont get incompatibly issues with apps
for anyone interested on how to do this i followed instructions here
everything so far so good
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20624277&postcount=13
install like normal .apk
removed link
stopped working
also if you have issues down the line
go to
settings/apps/google play store
force stop, clear data and should be all set
Cool, thanks for this.

Any idea what the problem was with it?

Not really sure it actually worked for a full day
I hope you get it working again, for people on a different dpi its a must.

There is simple method:
1. Rename MarketUpdater.apk in \system\app\ to MarketUpdater.ap
2. Replace Phonesky.apk with the attached one
3. Done
Tried it but hasn't made a difference. Is there a step missing? Have rebooted phone but still same.

I found that the modded file is not necessary.
Follow these steps:
1. Upgrade Market to latest version
2. Make the Market function normal with default DPI
3. Rename MarketUpdater.apk to MarketUpdater.ap
4. Change to any DPI you want
5. Done
This works to me.
Back in the game!
Thanks mate, the trick was to get it working in native dpi first. Wonderful stuff.

Hmm still having problems with some apps like "Dead space", "Need for speed hot pursuit", "Froad" (all in the 49p deal section) saying "Your device isn't compatible with this item".
Other apps which were saying this but worked at 240dpi are ok though, not sure what the problem is here....

How long have u had this going this work also with old market but temporary even with renamed updater or freezing with titanium backup
that's why spoofing the market app to desired DPI was necessary
anyways the market you posted works so far
people just need to clear market data

What DPIs are you guys using?
In order to get 5x4 app drawer in Apex Launcher while enabling on screen buttons.
237 DPI did it and no need to spoof the Market
211 DPI also did it and spoofing is needed
I use 210

How To Clear Entire Cache

Applications take cache space. How can we all clear at once. Is there any way? I am rooted.
Sent from my GT-N7000
There is an app called cachemate. That should help.
---------- Post added at 06:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:02 PM ----------
Or you can just boot into recovery and wipe cache.
Titanuim Backup is an app that most rooted phones have.. so instead of installing any additional app, there is a batch function to clear caches of all apps.. careful while cleaning cache of system apps as this will kill your systemui for a while.

For me that apps take a lot of time to start after clearing cache. So I don't until I need to.
You can download an app call " all in one tool box " on Google market. Its does very good job and widget itself. Cleaned most empty folders and cached.
Hope this helpful

Google play store and Google services framework. If you don't have titanium to freeze them you can disable them in settings/apps/all.

Another thing you could try is using the cracked Google play installer by chelpus, it acts as if clean installed. Once done you can reinstall regular Google play using the app

The pictures are files on your storage and you are the owner; while album is just an app that is used to view these files, the album app does not own the pictures. In fact, even the android OS does not own them. So even if you were to remove the entire album app, or even install a new OS, your images will stay.
Deleting/Resetting the data should be even more trivial and have no impact.
