Then second: This is a dev thread. No ETAs etc!
OH and NO project butter. Don't even dare to ask about it. Same with HWA ofcourse!

I won't look really often here.
If you want to build it yourself I've created a repo here.
But be prepared: This is a dev version and won't be usable as a daily driver.

@Benee and tonyp, why dont we wait for official ICS release, and then start porting stuff to JB.
Directly jumping on JB would be effort loss when new ICS is released, and then have to create all related wrappers again from new released ICS source.

I used to follow this spreadsheet too when it was shown for ICS development and to got a notice that it was changed to JB development this morning
I will certainly keep following this thread and looking forward.
And I really don't think it's a waste of time to port JB already to our P990 when LG still didn't release ICS.
Because porting JB is, in the developer point of view, more interesting when there's a lot to do
This is the Best way to start a better Sunday

I created a new rom with a diffrent look and higher speeds then any other ICS rom out here .
It has the motorola blur ics launcher included . I will update regulary with small zip files to speed the rom even more up!
Known bugs are : same as FOP rom as i used it as a base but tweaked it out alot .
Tweaks made: ZPv6 tweaks. Some kernel tweaks looking into OC and UV .
Testing supercharger script out!
V2: complete brush of useless files in the rom.
Tweaked build.prop for better ram mangement
Moved vm heap from 32 to 128
added beats audio libs
fixed audio

Well, Jaropda has the point. We have several ROMs based on FOP which share the same errors. And now someone just took the easier path Of course it's your free time and free will. Do whatever you want but don't judge Jaropda because he thinks it's just premature act.

they are trying their best and giving us more and more choice, and its better like this as not all of them are working on camera
some on theming, some on debugging blah blah...as they said, they'll update all roms with fixes as they are based on FOP rom
yes, you may find that they are not concentrating on camera bug but...you dont know and they are the one helping us

you are right theaks our kernel builder is busy right now so we cant test new kernel related things like modded cam hall etc

Wow, props to the dev. I cant wait to see this in a slightly more mature stage. JB is awesome on the Nexus 7... so I am hopeful it will be just as awesome on the Atrix.

I would love to see him (temasek) back here - even more as it seems he hasn't lost all of his interest in our phone (referring to the V20 update).
All his ROMs - i used so far - were absolutely great. And it would be a great loss...
On the other hand - no pressure - if this is something like a farewell present - thanks temasek and live long and prosper.
Hope i will have a matching phone sometime in the future to further benefit from your great work :good:.
i have gone back to my daily, having alarm_rtc wakelocks and fast battery drain, on multiple basebands and 2 kernels. not sure how to fix this..

Checked twitter.. no changelog whatsoever :/
And this is why we should buy phones with AAA stock support. It takes just one user stubbornly sticking to ICS baseband, even though arcee told otherwise, to drive developers away. I can't believe some people sometimes. Instead of putting their asses down and FLASHING AN OLDER BASEBAND they demand a dev conjure up black magic and fix their first world problems!

They fixd bluetooth and random freezes and bsods..users say they have a better battery life and it has a slightly performance bump:-?..it sounds great if u ask me)

No it's not.. although they are the same phone.
If you flash it on su660 you could brick your phone..

The camera actually works this time.
All the CM10.1 bugs are present (I'll consider using code from p990-dev once i figure out how to revert the new BL-specific changes)

well, sources is one of the most important things, BEFORE posting it. as soon as it gets released, the sources have to be public.

Hey mate, I really estimate your work and your ROM :good:, but nevertheless it would be nice, if you could minimize your ad in the signature a bit. It's not only a pain for the eyes, it makes a lot of scrolling necessary as well. Thanks in advance!
Where can I download only the Rom Control aokp?
I guess you can't since it requires AOKP rom to control it It wouldn't simply work on CM as it doesn't have features from AOKP

I have to say, in the last month I have gone from official v10h to v20a leak then official 20a. Then in the last week I rooted, unlocked and loaded this ROM. One word AWESOME.
Performance settings are absent, restored my cm10.1 before I even restored my apps. Bugs like battery stats missing are present too. Be nice if this develops further, but for it to stay here git is required and gapps should be removed
