please someone sugest a rom for me

hi please would someone suggest a new rom for me with good battery life ,i am currently using the ultimate v 8 rom ,i would like the latest gingerbread if possible,and also the easiest to install ,am i asking to much ? many thanks before i go off my head searching and searching i am running at present

also there are many many many many questions like this, why didn't you just go see what the answers for those were as they would answer your question...

Agree search read the posts read the battery faqs or buy a Nokia .
This is just a repetition of multiple lazy sods posts day after day no wonder server is clogged .

Many thanks for your kind remarks. As I stated I have searched for days, I just wanted to treasured that I would not brick my phone I just wanted help! I thought that thus was a friendly forum.

the forum is friendly, but us users who visit here everyday get bogged down with the same questions and it gets irritating.
We know you are not here to P155 us off, But some people are scared to flash a rom without having 10+ XDA members holding their hands through the process.

ok thanks will search myself..i am not afraid to flash as i have done it a few times with baited breath,but last night i flashed a theme that was supposed to be for my rom and i had a loop, and had to start all over again ,,thanks again for your help

Good or not??

Hey guys i get my ace to root and i install cwm. Now i dont know which rom to put. i dont want android 4, i want 2.3, not stock but cm7. i see this rom called droidace but not too many thanks given to the masterex567. and even not many comments not enough poll results. i dont know why people not respond to that rom.
but i want to know, is it good rom. it looks nice in screenshots. should i try it?

Wait for some time if you want response.
You cant jus open threads like this. Read the rom thread carefully for feedback.

Okk. Thanks i am noob. but tell me one thing, is rom good or not. i read the thread but no one has posted any quick review. is there any review of the thread? i want to know rom in detail. but the first, second and third post in rom don't provide review. and no one post review. i want a review like what are pros and cons?
i just want review and if it is nice

i wud suggest flashing cm 7.2 apocalypse rom..

Ok here is something upto you to decide. Do you judge a ROM just on the basis of how many thanks the Dev has got or you read the OP first?
Weird but let me tell you, Read OP to see how much safe a ROM is first. Second see the features. Have a doubt in mind, ask the thread inmates.
Dont like the ROM after flashing? Fine then, you can go for a switch. xD

I see, sorry im noob but i want to know about review. in the thread people are not commenting and posting small things like quick review, like in other threads so thats why i think that. i see that in thread it is always you (badjaguar) and op himself talking. y no one else is post there. does this mean people dont like rom?

This means its a development thread. People shouldn't post reviews in dev threads. The fact that they do doesn't mean it should be like that.
If you want to know what a ROM is like, just try. If you've made a backup you can always revert to your previous ROM.
Also, read the stickies in general and Q&A. So that you know the rules for new threads.

Applies well on people who nowadays choose ROMs based on replies, thanks and other immaterial things.

And btw, did you know that no of downloads are in hundreds and it has increased rapidly in past two days. The fact is that Dev is busy in cooking v2 and OP needs to be updated with a lot of new stuff. Till then, Why don't you give a try for v1 mate?

One thing i would like to tell you bro, you can only tell if a certain rom is good or not,when you flash it and use it. Not every rom is good for any individual. People have their own taste. Just flash it, if you don't like, flash another one. So simple as that. Some people like me preffer stock over cm7,.some preffer vice versa.

Kernel CM7

Hello I'm using v30a rooted and I don't realy like it...it is smooth etc but it is responding hard.....I want to flash cm7 stable but I want a good CM7 kernel.....but i can found any kernel they are old and I need to see all the forum pages....cand anyone suggest me a kernel...just suggest one I will search for it on the forum etc...just tell me the names of best kernel for CM7...Thank You!:laugh:

okay I think I will flash ETaNa but there are a lot of versions...nevermynd.....there is lite and simple (no lite) what is the differences between these two? And what does exactly the tweakaio? I should flash it or not?

etana by vadonka and symbiosis by (God of hybrid ROM) Stephan kernel both are really good

Go to the dev section, there are a couple of CM7 kernels there.

I'm asking other peoples experiences...I didn't said that everyone needs to flash kernels just to tell me wich is good and wich not.....I'm asking users who tryed kernels and what did they experienced And who are you btw? You are going on every thread to tell wich thread will be closed?

I did not tell anyone to close this thread. But as you should know, best ROM/best kernel threads aren't allowed on XDA, so it'll get closed sooner or later...
Everyone is going to get different results on different kernels, just as everyone has different experiences with basebands (it might work well for me, but maybe it won't work that well for you, you know what I mean?). Try a couple of them, use them for a day or two, and stick with the one that works the best for you..

Please check each kernel's thread for info as they're full with questions such as yours (and answers, too). Spend some time reading, there's no need for this thread indeed.

One thing for sure: I want something stable (even more: rock solid) not the latest alpha/unstable/night build. Which one I should chose and why? I mean the list of choices here is overwhelming.

Dude we are not any servants for u, u shud have been more polite with your query... No offence.
any way if u dnt want alpha/beta/unstable build y u tryng builds like cm10.1, they are almost Stable and perfect(with some minor bugs) u can go for official Cm7, customize it with ne theme. :good:

User have their opinions on ROM. You're (magicphone) a human right ? Then you should have a decision for best ROM. Since you are a human.

Best ROM threads always turn into Pissing Matches and result in flaming (that is why they are frowned upon). Best thing you can do is go to Dev section and read a few OPs. Pick a few that you like and read the last 10 pages or so for bugs. Narrow it down to one you want and start reading.
Oh and make a Nandroid before flashing or your next thread will be "Help!!! My phone won't boot".

Hey, i don't want to compare Roms. But o
I'm looking for a bit of guidance oto choose The Best Rom for my device, thua giving me Best performance, best battery life, and minimal bugs.
I'd like to hear all user experience.
(I have slow internet, with limited bandwith; i can't download all Roms and try them, hope you understand, thank you)

There is no best ROM or kernel- if there was a best ROM, then there would only be one ROM. Someones best ROM may not be the best for you...

Regardless, there isn't a best ROM or Kernel and as has already been said these threads are against the rules.

Just try them for yourself, there won't be an easier way. It's what this website is all about
