Hello everybody, I've searched on the forum, but I cannot find a solution to my problem. When I try to connect my iPad or my MacBook to the internet through my SGS I cannot surf the web. I mean, I can connect to the SGS via the wifi connection but it looks like there is no internet connection.. I am on Darky 7.0 rom. Is there any kind of setting which I have to make to be able to get an internet connection? Thanks for your help

Do you have a weak signal? I noticed when my signal is weak i can connect but the internet doesn't work.
No the signal is at the maximum but there is no internet connection..
any help?
I'm also having the same problem on 7.5 and 7.6. Maybe bring this up in his thread?
Edit: Im in an area with HSDPA for data too, but when I switch to tethering via wifi or even USB, it doesn't switch to HSDPA. And it wont let me browse the net from a PC. Browsing within the phone works fine.
check your APN settings if they are correct
If my APN settings won't correct I wouldn't be able to browse from the handset itself, which I can do no problem. Its only when I tether.
why does if i use gps then my only connection is vpn then i check the wifi & mobile network location my vpn just stops. i mean it will lost its connection. but when i use my tab and i also use openvpn on it. the vpn still have connection...
whats the problem about the fone?? please help..
i really need help about it cuz without checking the wifi & mobile location i got a 2800m acurateness.

I've played a little bit with apn settings (according to other threads) but nothing changed.

Are you connected to mobile data when you turn on the hotspot? Does mobile data internet work for your hotspot device?

I have a galaxy note 8 exnynos version, and since I updated to oreo I can no longer connect to the web interface of airdroid in wifi or 4G, do you know the problem or just I have this problem? some solution?
I'm able to connect via WiFi in local connection mode. I can't test remote connection as I have no mobile coverage where I live.

Hi I'm not sure if it's only when using hotspot and tethering or if it is all the time but I can't use my hotspot for gaming and it struggles with download because the internet keeps fluctuating I've don't have this problem with any other internet just my phone's hotspot can anybody help me put?

I got problem in hotspot. In version 153, hotspot is good. But update to version 161, hotspot is dead. Phone lose internet after turn on hotspot.
