how can i change the language?

i just bought today a htc shift, from the internet ,when i opened it i descoverd that the windows is in italian language ,how i can change it to english ? ,i don`t know italian please help.

Here is a guide from microsoft on how to change the display language.

the device is in spanish. i had reinstalled the vista with english. but how to change Snap View language to english.

Download one of the custom ROMs available in the forum.
Hint: look for Thaihugo 1.22.x ROM, pliROM or udK's WM 6.1 (blackstone) in the Shift Upgrading forum.

Look for Change Vista Language ISO file, download it and burn a CD with it. Then download English Language pack available in the same thread.
Copy it to C:\ on your vista. Reboot the machine with th change language iso cd. follow the instructions and you added english pack to your os. and next time when you reboot the box, it will be in english.

For SnapVue:
1. liberate it (google: modaco liberate shift)
2. install HardSPL
3. Flash any Custommade Rom in this forum
For Vista:
1. Get online
2. Download Vista MUI package from microsoft. (google: microsoft MUI vista download)
3. Install it !
Done
ps. i would recommend you to install Windows7 or XP cause its much smoother

for full support 3 things are required:
1. See Hebrew fonts (can anyone with an HD7 browse www.maariv.co.il and see what comes up ?)
2. Have a Hebrew keyboard
3. Hebrew menus
Bit of a mixed picture here, IOS 4.x has stepped up with 1&2 and 3 if your location is Israel. Android still needs to be rooted and hebrew fonts installed which is disappointing. Hopefully Windows Phone 7 will step up.

I am not a developer. I am an ordinary person that like to share his work to other.
I was annoyed by not being able to write arabic letters in Windows Phone 7. So I have decided to make a new one.
This application is completely based on denominator77 work for Russian Keyboard patch V1.6.0. I have just replaced Russian layout with Arabic layout.
The program alters Spanish or German keyboard into Arabic one.

This patch is only a layout, it doesn't not solve RTL problem.
To enable the Arabic Keyboard, go to settings -> Keyboard, and enable Spanish Keyboard - German Keyboard if you didn't find the Spanish one -
Please back up your data on your mobile before applying this patch.
This patch is tested on HTC HD2 running WP7. I haven't tested it on any other mobiles.

I saw the Hebrew keyboard, asked the dev on how to make it arabic.
He said just edit the *** file into arabic letters. but i couldn't find that *** file

your screen shot shows that it doesn't have any problem with rtl,
because when i installed the original one, i have problem with that,
persian language is showing from Left to Right, i mean vice versa, but you don't have, do ya?
i tried to install your version but it didn't work on HD7 , it said that it doesn't find suitable patch for my phone,

i'm new here and i juste bought an LG optimus 2x. My lg is rotted and have recovery ClockworkMod.
i can't read arabic letters is there some thing to do?? please help me.
I had a galaxy s i9000 and same problem so i downloaded Arabic rom for everything in the galaxy,
is there any costum rom with arabic for the LG optimus 2x( i don't need arabic language for the menu only to read and write Arabic mail and sms and some application that requires Arabic.

I have lost the "Spanish" language after install 4.2.2

Hi , i have a problem, i don´t have the spanish language, i installed the new Android 4.2.2 previusly i changed the CID (htc__032) , it was all ok , i had 4.2.2 and i had the spanish language as well, i was checking the improvements , in settings/languages and keybord i saw that there not was spanish language despite my phone in that moment it was in spanish, i changed it for testing , and now i don´t have spanish , neither german, italian, english UK(Only US) only i have Eastern languages. What could do?

remove the sim card make a factory restore the full one, put your sim back and connect to the wifi and put your google mail account see when you finish the wizard if it works..
