GT i9000 boot loops - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My Galaxy S won't boot past the Galaxy S i9000 screen. I have tried all combinations of 3 files + pit + repartition using a variety of stock ROMS from 2.2 up to 2.3.x, I've also tried 1 file ROMS through Odin and Custom ROMS in Odin (like Darky etc.). Nothing will boot past the Galaxy S i9000 screen.
Also I cannot boot to recovery, it just loops as a normal boot. I can access download mode. I've ran out of ideas , I'll be grateful of any help I can get. Thanks
Edit: After multiple attempts, Darky 10.2 RE finally booted.

[Q] Bricked Phone with DL Mode. Help?

Hello all.
I was trying to get recovery mode 2e on my galaxy s.
I used the method described by angiogram in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14323608 which involved replacing a recovery file in the system/bin folder and adding some files in the system/xbin folder using root explorer.
Turned the phone off. Tried recovery mode but got stuck on galaxy s GT-I9000 screen. Held down the power button then phone started normally. Then (silly of me) tried to reboot in recovery mode from ROM Manager this left stuck on the same screen except phone wont start up normally anymore still gets stuck.
Download mode does work though.
How do I fix this? I dont care what I'm left, any ROM, any Kernal.
Galaxy S GT-I9000
Froyo 2.2 DTJP5
Try the ezbase3 rom, froyo or gb

Don't worry. I flashed this Flash Ficeto_JVH_Odin ROM as per the start of darkys instructions for the new ROM worked like a charm
i flashed darky's yesterday, so far its pretty good
battery life is amazing ( more than i expected )
so you should give it a try
you will still need recovery 2e for the ROM itself
good luck

Stuck in boot loop... NEED HELP..!!!

Just tried to root my fone using CF-Root-XX_OXA_JVO-v3.2-CWM3RFS and unexpectedly it started showing the " Phone---!---Computer " screen... It won't get to the recovery mode...
But I somehow managed to get it in the download mode and got the stock rom ( I9000DDJV6_ODDJV6_DDJV4 ) finally flashed after getting stuck at factoryfs.rfs like a million of times and after excessive hair loss...
However... Now the fone starts, shows " Samsumg GT-i9000 " screen... Followed by the animation + sound screen with a big " S " glowing in the center of the screen.... it keeps glowing for about a minute and then screen goes black and the animation again starts... on and on and on....
Kindly help me the way out of it...!!!!!
Have you tried to install the stock rom again with odin?
This may repair the boot loop.
Let's get the bootloop out of the way first...
Flash a stock ROM with Odin. Make sure re-partition in Odin is checked!
This should get you out of the boot loop. To root, head over to Chainfire's thread and download the right version of his kernel for the stock firmware that you just flashed with Odin, make sure it's the right version or else you'll be bootlooping again. Example: if you flashed JVT, look for the kernel in his download section with "jvt" in its name. Flash that kernel with Odin (put it in PDA) and you should have a fully functionally and rooted phone with CWM recovery installed.
You should flash the stock rom (or at least the kernel)...and I suggest to use a newer rom than JV6 if available for your country (Newest roms for europe are JVZ, JW1, JVU...)
I use JVU (Value Pack) from sammobile.com...works fine.
For rooted kernel I prefer semaphore (2.5.0).

P7310 Boot Loop No Recovery

Hi All
Im sorry for having to open another thread. I have a Galaxy Tab 8.9 that was sitting not on for a few weeks. When I tried turning it on last night it just got to the Samsung Galaxy TAB 8.9 load screen and no further. I can flash new bootloaders, roms, CWM and .pit files in download mode but nothing has worked currently. I am unable to boot to CWM recovery I have tried installing the stock rom and stock recovery with no Joy. Is this completely ruined do you think?
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated

Galaxy S1 stuck on Boot Image after misusing CF-ROOT

Hi,
I've searched around and did not find the answer, this is truly frustrating,
I have this Galaxy S1 phone that had Froyo 2.2 stock rom from Orange Israel.
I downloaded a random CF-ROOT, and Odin, and without checking the Baseband, I used it on the phone.
It began with a Boot Loop, so i tried a different CF-ROOT, and now it's stuck on Boot Image.
I cannot check the baseband because it doesn't boot, can't check which stock firmware I need.
what can i do?
Thanks to all helpers!!
- edit: I meant Galaxy S1 !!!
If you can get into download mode, you won't have any problems. The only thing is that you have an incompatible kernel with your firmware - just flash any stock firmware (2.2 or 2.3) to fix it.

[Q] GT-S6500D won't boot to recovery

So, my uncle gave me bricked phone (basicly, he could only boot to recovery and download) so I installed stock 2.3.6 from sammobile through Odin. I also installed new CWM through odin aswell. But phone not won't boot to recovery. I use every single button combination, but won't.
I get CWM logo with Samsung logo but nothing happens after that.
EDIT: Can somebody move this thread to Mini 2
