How can I change the font and colors for text messaging?

I kinda likes the default font of Gingerbread. I am using overcome 2.0 beta two but it doesn't have the default font of stock rom. Can anyone tell me the name of the font and from where I can get it?

I think it's Droid Sans. BTW, this is almost the only thing I don't like in Overcome ROM.
I wanted to upgrade my i9000 to aokp ics but i have some doubt. Does ics contacts has same features as in stock 2.3.6 like left swipe to msg and right swype to call.

No, that's a samsung feature rather than a Google(Android) feature.
Question as title above.
Currently, Im using stock rom 2.3.4 and have tried out to install the LED notification app but it still cannot work.
Please advice.

Yes it works, but u don't need to download the app because ics has built in LED notifications (if u get any notifications the 4 touch keys are glowing or flashimg)

Liberty3 2.0 allows you to remove the Blur launcher and use an AOSP one in its place. For the battery life especially, Liberty3 was my favorite GB ROM before I went to ICS.

This same feature is in mavrom. Mavrom has continued support. Liberty does not. Just trying to help you make a decision.

Nice! Didn't know that! I wished Liberty still had support when I used it. I'd suggest Mav now that I have this knowledge, unless max battery life is worth trading support...even though Liberty seems pretty decent as it sits.

If you liked Liberty you should check out Gummy, it's ICS made by the same people.
Thanks im using mavrom now but im a flashoholic im going to keep flashing until I find the right rom or ice cream sandwich has face unlock whichever comes first but you guys have been very supportive thanks

You CAN'T use it because there's no official ICS release yet for our Optimus 2x, why?
Because GB and ICS don't use same framework...
For example, Gingerbread Home Launcher will only work with 2.3.x version...and vice-versa with ICS, ICS launcher only work w/ 4.0.x version...
So, it's ALMOST the same thing with keyboard...
