All images have a transparent background.
Download the full pack and replace the folder were you have the images. They aren't showing with transparent bg because you have the previous version (in which i forgot to make images tranparent).
If that didn't help the problem might be your phone or you're using a black bg.

Your phone should have some kind of file manager where you can pick your wallpapers that you install. It should be the same way. I use Linda file manager and install and load my icons or wallpapers with that app.
Unzip the file and open the folder install the folder in your phone using one of the file managers of your choice and to pick an icon:
-long press your phone screen
-pick short cut
-applications
-pick the app you want to be on your screen
-press the icon (not the "ok" button yet)
-pick the gallery
-then look for the folder that has the icons
-then pick your icon
-either leave the label of the icon or delete the label of the icon
-then press "ok"

So I’ve never used launcher 7 before. How do I switch out the default icons with these? I see the option to edit when I tap the icon and it has the option to select a image from a SD card but it doesn’t work. Do I need the paid version to do that or do I need to download desktop visualizer?

Here you go, just paste whatever picture over the other one, but make sure it is the bottom layer. Then change the text, simples! The font is MV Boli size 18, just incase you dont have it. It also has a simple texture applied to the top of it.

Worked on hangouts and the camera tonight haven't pushed an update or anything yet

just posted a new update
green hangouts
camera themed (aosp and google)
changed music player from red to teal
added a boot animation

Some icons, and a few more apps

A little bit of a teaser, the last screenshot is YouTube BTW the rest should be pretty self explanatory. I do have some more tweaking to do, and I'm debating a few more icons

New update has been pushed to the play store

Themed:

Also Only in Plus (the new name for donate)
A small icon set of about 35 icons (possibly adding more depending on my time)

Pushed another update 8 more icons fixed mobile network in settings

Pushed a new update to roam plus with a few more icons, putting it at about 50 icons on top of the theme

Since I feel I have a pretty solid core set for the icons, are there any you would like to see?

I haven't, the main reason why I don't theme it is because sometimes it can cause a color clash so I leave it white
