Bionic Boots into CM7 for the 1st time

This is looking like VERY good news.. My buddy just showed me this video. Now I am eagerly awaiting a CM7 rom for my Bionic!

Fantastic news and great to see CM7 making its way to the Bionic.

seriously you're gonna ***** about it? why dont you build a ROM yourself if its so easy? the devs are doing great work on this phone, and if you are gonna cry then go back to stock and leave the forum for everyones sake.

Personally not a fan of Motorola anymore. Can't deal with locked bootloaders. Have had almost every Motorola phone on
Vzw.

You can always get the LG REVOLUTION. It has an unlocked bootloader. I had it and don't see any advantage for the typical user if the bootloader is locked or not. Developers will develop for whichever device they want, regardless if its locked or not. They're some pretty smart people, so getting past a locked bootloader is something that can be done.

How do I go about getting Liberty rom? I keep seeing andirc, but cannot find the site/rom etc. Would anyone have a direct download site as I would love to get rid of theory rom and try something different.

Kejar doesn't want any direct downloads. Just open irc andirc.net and channel #bionic. If you can't do that honestly perhaps you shouldn't be romming...

Download Rom Toolbox from the market. It was recently updated and now includes liberty 48.

And quite frankly, the quality of the currently released ROMs is very high for the time they've been out. Our devs are doing top notch work. If you don't like it, get a different phone.

Exactly what I was thinking lol. Typically defending would imply we are presently under attack or the person is stationed in the place they are defending.

[CM7] on Droid Bionic with dual boot!
This is an amazing hack by Hashcode! He built a hack to load CM7 on the Droid 3 that will also work on the Droid Bionic! I tested it on the Droid Bionic today and it worked! (ya I am crazy)
Now you need to note that this is in the begining stages, but with us Devs teaming up, this can be great!

3G on but not working

My phone just started today where it won't connect to internet unless I'm on wifi. It shows 3g but isn't going for anything. multiple battery pulls, reboots, Sim card trick, the whole 9. I'm in Westchester, but the part without 4g. Anyone know what's the deal?

Verizon is doing something to their networks today. Affecting 4g phones in certain areas.
You could always give them a call and get more details.

I did call yesterday. There were outages all over the midwest and beyond. They were activating new 4g towers yesterday and Thursday which I guess made something happen to the 3g....

Team liberty also. I know kejar and jrummy worked on that also.
A little birdy told me that this will be released in a week or 2. Since it came as a private message, its just a little birdy for now.

Liberty for the Droid X was amazing. Liberty for the Bionic was ok, I expected it to be as good as the X version. I have never had a chance to try there gummy rom, but I may soon since kejar will be getting a RAZR.

I've been going through Liberty withdrawal since updating to 902 so I'm anxiously waiting for this.
