Hi everyone!
Last night i modded a boot screen for LG owners / CM users (anyone could use it but its a bit silly to use it on another brand).
It's quite huge, but hey we a lot of room on the system partition. (real reason is that i had problems converting the huge PNG's from LG to JPG's so they are left untouched.)
The boot animation is designed for 480*800 and looks better on our phone then the preview does

Installation: no flashable image, replace the bootanimation.zip. You could do this with

I have always like the simplicity of the Ubuntu boot screen. This is a "replication" but with Android. This is setup for a HDPI screen of 480x800 px. If you have bigger or smaller you can change the output size in the desc.txt

This file needs to goto your /system/media. Then you need to set permissions like this with Root Explorer

This file you drop on your sd card, boot into recovery, and flash zip from SD

This is my first attempt at a boot animation so easy on me fellas!
I remember having something similar on my tattoo a few years back, couldn't find it so I made a new one

All images are hdpi, I'm not sure how it works with low res devices, tested on O2X and works.

The first part is only played once and the spotlighting of the text is looped until the device is fully booted.
To install simply replace /system/media/bootanimation.zip
This one is not flashable!!

Hi,
firstly, I have a HTC desire which has an Evervolv ICS rom, which comes with the nexus "x" boot animation. I wanted something a bit more to the rom, so I created this.
This is unofficial, I have no connection to Evervolv, just enjoy their work and roms!
Here is a preview (although I think it is a little faster than the actual bootanimation, and is a lot larger too )

The bootanimation is not flashable, please just replace it in the place that your original bootanimation is in... Take a back up if you want to restore your original!
The size of the images are 480px wide, so has been made for my HTC desire which is HDPI, so may not work for other devices...

I put together this slick boot animation based on Google's special logo dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the Buckyball.
Here are a few facts :
It's not flashable. Install it with a root-enabled file explorer or with a boot animation changer such as this one.
It's 720x1280. Feel free to resize it to fit your phone's resolution. You can use Boot Animation Factory for that.
See preview below - it should give you a pretty good idea of the animation itself.

This bootanimation is in fullhd res, so it only run on Zen2 - ZE551ML fullhd models.
Requirement: Rooted, unlockbootloader and have TWRP installed.
How to install? : Simple, flash it using TWRP.
Note: remember to backup your rom first, i do not sure if it work 100% or 99.99% :angel:
