Ohmy if im not mistaken, that app is for the asus transformer yet you used it on a galaxy note....
Only step i can think of is if you can manage to get into recovery there, you can wipe data. This would reset you to default..
Or if it really cant get in there, then just flash back to gingerbread and back to your preferred rom..

Try again and if you still not able to boot in download mode manually then use JIG method.

Doesn't sound good to me...
Just a thought, why not try to take out the sd card and booting again?
Try turning it on when connected to usb and see if the pc detects a connected device.
I don't know much about this, but if you can't get ANY sign from your phone, it might be hard bricked...

Lol if you pay attention the brick threads numbers gets higher on weekends.. It's when the average noob gets some time to flash stuff without reading a single line of warnings and hows to and this its the result...

Consider what happened as an act of laziness. Btw I read that it was for transformer but never thought it can lead to serious hard brick issues. Well tried with a jig it didnt work and also I found out my battery isnt charging through the phone (I used my frnds phone to check ). I just want to try everything before giving it to service center.

I was not talking about you when referred to Noobs hehe
So you can not go recovery with a full charged battery?... I agree if the app only sends commands to go to recovery it should just not work..
But if a jig its not working and neither does a full battery you should send your device for repairs...

I think that app triggered the emmc bug though I was on notecore. Maybe who knows..Its sunday here so i ll make a visit tomorrow to the service center. Well just dont use that app
Try the Jig first but if you cant even see anything on screen or When you connect the device to pc, if there is no signal no sound nothing than most probably you super bricked your phone. Then the best way is to send it to the samsung service. If you still have guaranty that is the best option
I also superbricked my galaxy note and send it to service they coulndt undersrtand what happened and they fixed it.

Hi Experts,
I have a Cappy and i love Continuum 5 ROM. I never miss any versions from beta2 to RC 3, everything is ok, but now when contimuum v5.1 was released. I tried to flash it but i got a big problem in that version. The first, i encountered Boot Loop issue while booting, but it's not the biggest problem, my cappy is still boot up to the home screen, and here everything was became very bad. My Cappy got lag and cant interact with return and it reboot automatic after that.
Now, when v5.1 was released, i believed it'll be fixed, but it's still exists. .
my cappy cant boot up to home screen. it repeats booting to continuum animation and restart forever.
can anybody give me a suggestion for turning my cappy back !!!!!!!! Please help
Did you have full battery? I made this mistake too... Be sure that you did everything correctly..

I would suspect you could simply use the 1-CLICK ODIN program to restore the phone then follow the steps carefully for 5.1 (which is a pretty awesome ROM btw)
I'm sure i charged full battery before flashing.

right. i got a bootloop when flash to v5.2. i tried to flash the rom in recovery mode many times, but it's still exists. even i flash back to RC3. i got only the android text animation on the screen.

I've had problems in the past with getting to download mode on the cappy. I did some googling trying to find a way, ended up finding a very good page on it:
http://samsungcaptivate.wikia.com/wiki/Putting_the_Phone_into_Download_Mode
I hope that helps.
Had the same problem with my cappy. The problem is that after all you did, you have one bootloader from i9000 and another from i897. The jig won`t help. I`ve found the people that recovered the phone with JTAG.
my Galasy s Plus i9001 , dont wont to turn on after i instal new room from recovery mode

If you are 100% sure you cannot enter download mode you really have a problem. Did you try checking the battery? And if you are 100% sure - search the forum, there's some posts about using a JIG to fix it, but most seem to have gone back to Samsung afaik...

Try removing the battery and charge cable for a while (at least 30 minutes or so). I've not heard this happened before... and try charging with another cable and/or with another charger (for instance a laptop or some other usb device)...

Never install mods, addons, ROMs, kernels or anything made for whole Another phone.
Yes, that's the problem. I'm very sorry to tell you but you just destroyed your phone's boot.img by installing wrong one. And the wrong boot.img wont let you do anything on your phone. There's no way you could enter to recovery or download mode or anything.
I have no idea about the JIG thing but when I hard bricked my phone, I took it to the reseller and got it fixed for free of charge

Your phone is kind of dead now. You can't push a boot image to it 'cause computer doesn't recognize it properly. Bricked means your phone is just as useful as a brick. It wont turn on in any way and there's nothing else your phone would do.
The JIG costs only 2$ , if that doesn't get u into download mod then u can only revive ur phone with JTAG .

JIG on ebay...

My advice is go see if u can repair it for free (warranty) , if not u can try the JIG to get u into download mode so u can flash via Odin (there are a lot of clips about JIGs on youtube) , if all that doesn't work JTAG is ur only hope (also there are videos about it on youtube).

Better Soluction
It ocurred me and I go to Movistar Shop and I said that it doesn't boot and I don't know anything and they give me another one with the guarantee.
Try and if not try with JIG ,
me 2, think you installed the wrong rom on the wrong phone..MIUEI rom is not out for the GT I9001, when i bricked my phone =1 medecin= www.broodplank.net (and check how to unbrick your I9001-article)
As the partition layout and even the filesystem is totally different I think you wiped away your bootloader and maybe also radio firmware. If this is your actual situation, it is ver very VERY unlikely you will get your phone alive with a jig. Don't know the partition layout of a 9000 but even the hardware is completely different. Not nucb hope left, very sorry.

Soft brick= a FAILURE of the device that can be reverted by the user
Hard brick= a FAILURE of the device that has to be reverted via external devices see jtag
Superbrick= a FAILURE of the device where the only solution the service center and a replacement of the component that malfunctions.
Pixel salad = a problem of the graphics unit or the screen to display correctly the image and put instead random colored pixels on some areas of the screen or the whole screen.
This is my interpretation of those issues everyone can correct it if he thinks that those expansions are incorrect.
Hope it helped you understanding few of those issues.

I'm not 100% sure, but performing a flash under lpf isn't recommended. How did you root lpf after flashing? And when you say "did a direct reboot" what do you mean? Also when you say doesn't turn on at all, do you mean no display whatsoever or enters Samsung boot loop? Are you able to enter recovery or download mode?

Wiping or flashing in recovery will probably cause superbrick.

The way to go from ANY non-CM9-based ICS Rom to a CM9-based Rom is via Gingerbread.
You should've first used PC Odin to go back to GB, root your Rom, then flash CM9.
You have most probably superbricked your phone.

Sorry im new to this forum.
I Rooted my phone and accidently made an Full Data Wipe.
Now the screen stays black and it does nothing.
Do you still can turn it on? I mean do you see the "Samsung Galaxy Note" message when turning it on?
If you can see it, your problem was called "soft brick". Don't worry. Turn your phone off, then try these steps.
- Reset all settings and clear all data. Go to Recovery Mode (VolUp+Home+Power), then select "wipe data/factory reset".
- Download the ROM, then flash it with ODIN software while your phone is in Download Mode (VolDown+Home+Power).
If your phone cannot turn on.
- Leave the charger connected for at least 1 hour, then try to turn it on again. If you see the message, do the above steps.
- Take out the battery for at least 3 hours, then try to turn it on again.
- Make or order the USB JIG. It can force your phone to enter the Download Mode, then you can later flash a new ROM with ODIN software.
- If USB JIG doesn't work, then your phone's motherboard has to be replaced.
PS. Sorry about my english.

If it's too complex for you then service center is the only option for a mobo replacement. By the way, what recovery did you wipe from? What method did you use to root your phone?

Try flashing gb rom (recommended kl3 India)
You can find on first line of my sign for note 1 (post 2)
If you can successfully flash then wipe cache and data.
