Full wiping doesn't delete the odex files.

you must deodex all apk and jar on system/app and system/framework.. use xultimate or dsixda kitchen..
using xultimate can deodex with installation rom on your phone.. using dsixda u must deodexing before u install rom.. extract rom >> deodexing >> build rom..

EDIT: I attached a .RAR file with the apk and .odex file of the TouchWiz 3.0 launcher from Stock Android 2.3.5 ROM. I hope you can deodex it yourself, because I'm too lazy for it. LOL.

Sometimes I forget not everyone has an extremely choppy connection that can't be used to download anything without download managers...

Saves internal space, allows easier modifications (e.g. theming), at the cost of a slight performance hit since odex files are deleted.
That would be a ROM that's just deodexed. Most deodexed ROMs include performance tweaks as well that make up for the above.

Umm, yes they are for android! Tested on Stock ICS..Need to check on JB and CM 7...
Anyways always make a nandroid backup before flashing..

No you just have to install them..
And even for the player...I uploaded that as a APK, i don know how you got a zip file?! Try downloading the player again..
Just install them as you install any other app..

u may install a custom recovery after root and flash golden kernel again..... and what kind of mods are u talking about??? apps can be restored by titanium backup and if u modded .apks (systemui.apk,etc) just copy and paste over existing ones....
