When a message is recieved,we get the unread count on the messaging app
But even after i see the message, the count doesnt get cleared.Tried many ways(restarted, force stopped, disabled and then enabled, even deleted the recieved msg)but nothing worked. It looks very annoying
Any help??
Thanks in advance
Anyone there to help me??

I dont have any msgs stored in the sim
If you using third party msg app (threaded SMS is common to cause this issue) uninstall it.
AND
try un ticking the "don't keep activities" in developers option

You need to delete those and reboot device (many have solved by this, but may not work for all)
I had another problem guys
When i type a message, the matter i type is not being displayed in the text field,i need to wait for some time(for about 30sec)to be able to type. The text i type within that first 30sec is not being displayed even after the 30sec

That won't help. If you're not signed in you can't access the market to begin with. Do what the gentleman above said - it can't be more clear.

Thats not entirely true, I've fixed this exact problem by messing with google talk when clearing market data didn't work.

I've had stalled downloads before, and when I check GTalk, I'm not signed in. Signing in usually kickstarts the downloads.
So you can access Market without being signed into GTalk.
However, the OP gets unsuccessful downloads rather than stalled, and as such it isn't likely to be this issue.

Dave

Download "root tools" and open and there is a option call clear market details or data. That should work. or reinstall the market app.

Not trying to be rude, but how can you download any of those apps if every file you attempt to download from the market is unsuccessful? That's my issue...

Try to disable your mobile data connection and your wifi connection then re-enable them. (disable then enable) it works for me.
Sometimes toggling airplane mode works for connection problems also

Hi all. I'm using semc debrand engine rom at the moment and facing very annoying proble with sms sending. When I'm trying to send sms I fail and get sms "You have insufficient credit". In previous release cache and dalvic cache wipe helped to solve this problem, but now it's not. If anyone has ideas how to fix this problem pls share. Thanks for attention.
Are you REALLY sure it's a ROM bug? It may be worth it to try with another ROM and/or check if you really have credit.

I've searched google and here and can't find how to get gallery back!
I also keep getting a notification about needing to set a backup account, which when clicked does nothing.
Has anyone else got this problem? If so, how was it fixed?
Thanks in advanced!
EDIT: settings app and others missing.
Help please

Getting the same issue. Also my phone doesn't seem to be connecting to the PC although the USb is plugged in. I restarted my phone and the icons got grayed out too.. These are the icons on the bottom of eachhomescreen (the ones for phone, messages etc)
I had this try going into you settings/apps/all and then disable(freeze) the offending app uninstall any updates then enable it again, that's how I got my icons back. Its safe to update afterwards. Hope this helps?

Apart from the restart method that some have tried, you could use a task manager and kill "xperia home". That will force the launcher to reload again and you'll see your icons there. A lot more faster than a reboot .
