Guys,
For some purposes here on XDA I always had a file repo on AjaXplorer.
Nowadays it's kinda laggy and buggy, so I need something else.
Do you have any ideas?
I just want a file repo which is directly public available. I've tried:
- Ajaxplorer
- OwnCloud
And this would be great:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But I want an opensource 'and' free one. Any ideas and suggestions?
Maybe one that already has some android source code available for making
an app too!
:good:
There's a bug running around on my screen!!!!!

This might be a dumb question on my part, so forgive me, but is there any reason you wouldn't just use something like Google Drive? I looked up AJAXplorer, so maybe it's just that you want to host it yourself? I didn't delve into it deeply, though, so I could missing the obvious.

Totally correct mate
I host it myself, I've got a huge repo with several own built ROMs, modems, drivers etc.
So it would be nice to have a nice interface. AjaXplorer is giving me headaches.
There it is again!

On the homepage and in the article there are videos to see how it works. If this method works flawlessly it will definitely improve the writing speed a lot. Looks very promising from my point of view. I subscribted the newsletter to get a notice when this will be available (soon as the developers said).
I subscripted myself to test the beta! So i'm curieus to the result.
Subscripted also
Subscripte also. The app looks verry promising. Can not wait to use it.
signed up as well. looks like an interesting concept, especially on the diamond.
Repeated Thread?
wow looks awesome...
looks really interesting, if it really works that well that would be a revolution.
and people would finally stop whining about not being able to type easily on their touch'es
not really a revolution... Just stumbled on something like this yesterday cus i really wanted that iphone feature

p.s. I just tried the demo, its Qvga. It does work tho and in my opinion pretty nice.

The symbols page is too small. Other than that - not too bad.
Unfortunately we'll probably never get to use it due to their business model of now downloading of it, it's just baked into the carrier ROM's. Kind of dumb in my opinion, but maybe someone here can make a cab file from it.

yea I found that it needs to go to the internet to get the data.
maybe a paid one will have it all in one on your device.
AvantGo/Drinkboy channel
I don't have it on my phone anymore, but I used to use AvantGo. There was a channel on there called DrinkBoy that had recipes. If you aren't familiar with AvantGo, you could save channel (WAP) content for reading/browsing when offline. You could set the channel to be available "x" levels deep, up to a disk quota that you set. If it is still available, thqat might work for you.
Try Data viewer by Town Compass and download BAR BACK DRINK GUIDE. Lots of cocktail combinations. I go to bars a lot that's why I have this on my BA and I love to mix drinks myself.

Nope. I never did the pre-order, as I was concerned about some of the security issues (I posted a thread last month about that).
As for pre-order 2, I don't know yet. If I did buy one, it would have to be a PQ screen and I want to see the reviews for that.
I still hope you won't jump ship
G-TAB forum needs you
It looks like the devs have already taken action! Take a look at Rothnic's thread called Eden Plus which has an update.zip package which is basically the stock ROM with root access and the Google Apps added.
Fantastic. Thank you, ssmithri. I've added the [REF] tag.
okay guys, I'm almost ready to publish a new 1-click rooting exe, but I really hesitate for its icon.
So, what do you think, people ?

hmm I didn't get what you meant
it's not important.xD
how you did it? i usually got error when pushing files
come on vote
I did some research and assembled known methods into one file. It exploits psneuter as SOC does but, I hope in a better way. I managed to root 10C-E and also 11C like that in less than 20 sec. It works each time without errors. I told you that the key is the order of cmds
This one, if i may suggest to add a stroke around it's mouth

In spain, when someone is going to take us a photo, we commonly say "pa-ta-ta" in order to be smileing on the photo without the need to force-smile...
In english, people say "cheese" or "cri-sis" in order to mantain the mouth semi-open and showing the teeth...
Smileing, please...
I like the simple one, without CRISIS It looks more professional... BTW I don't care what the icon looks as long as the app works!
first one for me
It's better with a big smile
@Huexxx okaaaay lol well I think the smiling one won
would you like a wallpaper like that ?
Thanks for voting guys.
App is ready, please check my thread !
[Q]:Where is your thread???
[A]:Here! It's very hard to search for a particular post of a particular user in a very big thread.. so you know!
P.S.: Thank You!

Here we go. Here a new rooting process I've developed according to my knowledge and based on known methods. It uses the psneuter exploit in a better way, I hope. I called it BlackJack
1 clic, 20 secs, no errors. Tested on 10C-E / 11C (bouygues)
It should be P970 designed, but since "yaffs2" mount is used, it could be used for another P970-like device. These are suppositions. Tell me if I'm wrong.
USB Debugging ON / Unmounted SDC
Enjoy testing !

Hey All,
Just wanted to point out a (to me) interesting fact, between the 12th of jan & 29th of march 2012 its going to be alot simpler (and a little cheaper) to register a gTLD.
What this means, is its possible to register a domain extension
Just saying, wouldn't it be awesome to have .xda ? imagine having urls like this;
forums.android.xda
forums.wp7.xda
forums.ios.xda
It would need quite alot of donations, but id donate for it, would you?
(and yea i fully realize its most likely way to pricey to ever happen, but still, would you like it too?)
Discuss!
Well, how much is it?
max.max here we come!
I'll never be able to afford that
