Hi guys,
I was trying to update my galaxy S with ICS from ODIN and made a big mistake. I tried flashing the 9100 ROM and ODIN crashed. Now my phone Won~t turn ON, Won´t go into Download or Recovery Mode!
Is my phone dead?? Hard bricked?
Is it possible to unbrick it??
Please, I would greatly appreciatte any help.

Yes it's possible, use unbrickable resurrector. Next time choose a better thread title, pls.

I have Samsung Galaxy i9000. I have comfused and do this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...=731989&page=1 and now the phone showing the white screen with at&t logo and goes nowhere! Omg.....what i must do now to ge the phone working again? I didn't see that is for the captivate only! Help me pls, i'm desperate! What i must do to get the phone work again?????
If you can enter the download mode then flash the stock rom it's on the general part of galaxy s forum

Try using a jig, try use the search button for "galsxy s gt i9000 download mode jig" if you can enter download mode with this jig then you will be able to flash the stock rom

I want to flash Broodrom Rc5 i9001 but Odin seems to stuck at system.imgext4. Can I flash the rom by Feamod Recovery 1.4 using the cwm backup link?

Hey Winston, I have a few questions... I belong to alot of different forums, and I got help with my husky, so to pay him back, I am helping him with his phone. He has an i-9000 on t mobile. It is freezing on him alot. He is stock, and has never modded a phone. Could you help me with which rom, and and kernel is the best gingerbread experience? Can all i-9000 phones use the same roms, and kernels? What is the best way to root? I have had a fascinate, and understand Odin, but most of my phones are HTC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

i would like to do UN-branded that handset via any custom rom or any model conversation.
Please Let me know.. is it possible to remove korean apps, language and install UN-branded things.

Of course it's possible to unbrand this phone. You can flash Oh.Yeah ROM. Google it. Easy to find. Remember to wipe before you flash or you might face booting/stability problems.

I have already checked with google, there is no any custom rom and CWM available.
Would appreciate if you can share some custom rom for SHW-M100S

You must have the driver for the phone to do this.
Factory reset your phone first (you will face serious problems including fail to boot without this step)
Then put the phone into download mode.
1. Press and hold vol up and vol down while the phone is off.
2. Turn phone on while still holding those buttons.
Next connect the phone to your PC.
Run the included Odin
Select the TAR file in PDA
Start
Wait patiently for your phone to boot up.
Factory reset again
I did same thing.evrything is ok,not much cook rom to choose,but anyway it is ok for me. Only one thing i can not, somebody know to to get stk in this phone,i really need it but almost korean phone hve no this funtion.
If some body know,let me know, i m hightly appreciated

I need custom or cook rom boss not for that coz ive done all of these, i have flashed already stock froyo 2.2.1 and cook rom gb 2.3.4 (oh yeah rom), i need now if someone have a new cook or custom rom, btw boss tnx for ur kindness

Hello Everyone,
In DESPERATE need of help here.
I have no idea what is happening to my phone right now and it just says "Firmware Upgrade encountered an Issue. Please select recovery mode in KIES and try again"
Actually this happened, while I was trying to install Cyanogenmod using Cyanogenmod Installer on my Windows PC running Windows 7. Now even Cyanogenmod Installer doesn't recognise my phone. I dont know what to do now.
Please someone help me out of it.

Thanks a lot for your valuable advice. Now my phone is working properly and now I am on cyanogenmod 10.1.3 stable.

Just hit rock bottom.
My nexus is in repair and i got galaxy ace that had CM 7,2 installed on it.
Tried to flash the Kernel with Bieltv.3 and now i'm at rock bottom.
Any tips? Help!!!

Firstly, can you make sure the kernel you installed is meant for Galaxy Ace S5830 and not Galaxy Ace S5830i. If it was indeed meant for another device, then your device is hard-bricked. In the hard-bricked state, you phone can neither enter Recovery Mode nor Download Mode. Try this guide to open Download Mode using odin. Here is the link,
How to unbrick Samsung Galaxy Ace
If that guide didn't work, then try USB Jig to force open download mode and if that doesn't work give it to a service center as the last resort.
Now if the kernel was indeed meant for Galaxy Ace, then go to Download Mode and flash back the stock rom using odin. That should unbrick your phone in this case. Do post the result. Hope I Helped
