I installed the Codename ROM for my Incredible S but the camera is not working. I know this is a known issue but is there a possible fix for it? I can use the camera for about 20 seconds or so before it either crashes or the phone restarts.
Thanks
Yes please fix

Try this........Settings-apps-gallery-clear data. See if it works or else reflash the ROM again

This worked for me! Thanks alot... As long as you don't try and use the Front Camera you should have a working Camera like me. My HTC Incredble S Is now FASTER than a brand new HTC One X with ICS on it. Thanks ROM Developer!

Has anyone else tried this ROM from the Droid Incredible 2 section?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1553357
It seems like we can install it and make it work on our device. I tried it and the only problem is that there's no network. It's probably because the ROM is for a CDMA device.
Do someone know if there is an easy way to make the network work?
Thank you

I installed it yesterday and haven't had any problem so far. It installs without problem, just take some time to boot but then, when you follow the step for it to work on gsm, everything works fine
Wifi, camera (with or without flashlight), camcoder, bluetooth, backlight (+rotation) work fine. I will still try wifi hot spot and some other little things

never figured UKB would work on vivo w/o significant changes, but i guess the init is close enough between vivo and vivow on the 3.0.16 kernel it does
was kind of suprised to see in my thread some vivo people, but its nice

Great job! That's a very good news!
I'm talking about this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ms.screencast&hl=en
I'm using PAC rom and it's not working properly, only blank screen was recorded
I'm not sure it's rom problem or what? Anyone know if it's working on a stock rooted rom?

Where's the point it should work on Xperia Z since it's working on Xperia sola? They are totally different phone with different hardwares
Anyway I'm going to give the stock rom a try

Disable HW overlays
Force GPU rendering
These two options in developer options will make it perfectly smooth
I figured out the problem
Stock ROM is fine and it's broken in both Carbon and PAC rom

Hello everyone. I am wondering if anyone in the cm nightly build that I an using is experiencing nfc issues. I am not able to turn it on. Now I have deleted cache in the recovery, and downgraded the cm build, but I have not fixed the problem. Now my question is : did anybody else have this problem? And what should I do to fix it?
Thank you so much for your help. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask .

Use cm file manager and remove /system/vendor/firmware/libpn544_fw.so then reboot and it will work.

Thank you so much! It worked .
Its been 2-3 years and there's still no solution for this bug. No sound in earpiece while calling. I have to use loudspeaker, or headphone or Soundanout app which isn't perfect anyway, has some bugs.
I tried almost all roms including official roms as well but it doesn't work. But it doesn't seem to be a hardware issue as soundabout can solve the problem somehow.
But if its a software issue then why do other roms (custom or official) fail to solve the problem?
Any thoughts?
Thanks
till stock 4.2.2 I had no problem. faced this problem first in LP

hmm..
I never had this issue in stock rom on any android version (4.3 JB to 5.1.1 LP)
but sometimes face this problem on alpha or beta MM custom rom.
if you face this problem on stock rom, maybe its a hardware failure

I am thinking the same now. because recently I flashed miui 7 rom. and in that rom it was always showing that my headphone is connected though I didn't connect headphone.
so it might be any fault in my headphone jack. though this headphone connected notification wasn't shown any other roms.
