I am looking for a Touch to Focus camera APK which I can use on my Nexus S running Rasbean Jelly. Would appreciate if some one can point me to a resource from where I can download.

Try Gallery2.apk in the CM10 nighties, however, you'll lose picasa sync.

I'm not a big fan of the 3d gallery, just don't get why I would want it to shift when I tilt phone to funny angles, ran and much preferred the 2D gallery I used to use on my Eris, which I was running Kaos Froyo. Does anyone have a 2d gallery apk? I have searched and can't seem to find one that installs on phone, thanks!
I would like to dump the 3d gallery as well. Anyone? Thanks in advance!

Bump?
Anyone have an alternate gallery apk that won't throw off the system, even if it's not 2D?
Here ya go.

Will this bring back .gif support? I am running jt's clean rom and the gallery app is different than the stock app.

Thanks for that! Had to reboot to get it in app tray, but works great! Wish all the tagging options worked, but you can't have everything, huh?
ludionis, are you using a deodexed rom by chance? I am, and this doesn't work for me..
XDA senior htcmagic has found an app and widget from the Optimus2x here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=932536
There is an issue with the app and widget. If you attach a picture using the camera method, once returning from taking the picture you get a force close of the camera.
I had a Nexus One before getting the Nexus S. My N1 did not have a notepad or memo app.

The app and widget came in one of the more recent n1 big fix updates, so it was easy to miss (FRG83).
If you did not have it, your rom was either not stock n1, was stripped from your rom by the dev, or you hadn't updated.

Simply not true. The memo widget is from a LG dump. Don't know where the notepad app is from but it ain't from any stock N1 build, that's for sure.
Yeah. Stock Android does NOT have any Memo/Notepad app, so whatever these widget/apks you have, they're NOT from Google's vanilla Android AOSP.
My apologies to all. I could have sworn it was from stock - seems the "stock" rooted rom I was using since I got my nexus one must have had this added as an extra. Was just trying to contribute something useful.
Jivemaster: thank u alot this is very useful to me especially the widget .. thanks

So this is essentially a combo between the stock ICS launcher + auto-rotate posted by bajansurfer and the 3 screen stock ICS launcher posted by matt_stang. what i'm posting is a 3 screen launcher which auto-rotates for landscape mode. I'm running oICSv26 and it works flawlessly (the app is actually sourced from koush's build). obviously i didn't create these mods, but only really combined them.
you should know what to do with this, not compatible with Gingerbread ROMs. rename to Launcher2.apk and push to system/app and set permissions or copy to system/app and set permissions to rw-r--r-- or:
Code:
x x -
x - -
x - -
in the root explorer permission grid.
download
updated with middle screen as default.
CM9 Trebuchet Launcher2 with 3 screens (includes preferences with enable/disable auto-rotate. version 0.1, Dock and Icons in preferences no workie)
Nice. Does having 3 screens use less Random Access Memory?

no idea, guess in theory it would but I don't know if it does in the real world. I just only need 3 screens.

Good work man, thanx for your efforts. I actually use 5 screens now with the email widgets in ics being available but you know I appreciate the work that goes into this stuff
I found one in aosp's thread with preferences option in it if you want to mod that one for three screen folks

Hi everyone, I have seen some of the apps from the sgs2 which I really like the look of, e.g mms. Apk and such
It would be great if some devs could port some of the apps from the sgs2 to our phones. I can get copies of the apps from the system if you need them.
Thanks happyland.adventures

Can you upload the touch wiz launcher?
I want that weather widget naw...
Sorry for the slight delay, what i think the keyboard is i have uploaded and there is also a copy of the samsung weather widget.
I think the keyboard is the axt9IME.apk, message me if i'm wrong
I have also uploaded the touchwiz launcher and despite the name it is touchwiz 4.0/4.5 not 3.0.
Do i need to upload the .odex files aswell?
Fyi. Cannot get weather widget to install on GNS on ICS 4.0.2

Yeah they are stock from the sgs2 system. I don't think they will install on anything else. Thanks for trying them on your gns though.

I recently flashed Cyanogenmod 10.1 on my device, and I'm interested in getting the One's stock camera app ported over. Any ideas how? I really like the new ROM overall, but the Google stock camera app is SEVERELY LACKING. To the point where there is a blueish hue on the borders of all my pictures (I'd assume due to the "Ultrapixel" sensor on the One). Yes, I understand that I won't be able to get Zoe because its a HTC Gallery feature, but that's the main reason why I want it.
Thanks in advance!
Its very unlikely. Along with the camera.apk the sense framework would also need to be ported to get the camera working. Sense framework does not play nice with AOSP.

Its possible on GPe 4.2, it is not possible on GPe 4.3. In 4.2 they still had the Sense Framework. Also GPe is not AOSP.
