Try to access recovery by pressing volume up + power + home button. Are you using a safe kernel?? if not try flashing a safe kernel before doing anything else. DO NOT WIPE anything on stock ICS.

Hello!
I am in deep s***t right now,
tried to flash the SGS of my friend and now i am stuck on the Galaxy S bootscreen.
Reflashing several Kernels via Odin didn't do any good...
I am not sure what to try next, as most CWM Recoveries i Tried seem to have problems mounting a partition called "E"
Any suggestions what to do?
Many thanks!
Do you have access to recovery or download mode by pressing either vol up + home + power or vol down + home + power ?

Go to Download mode, and Flash the original Stock ROM via Odin.
my problem is that i used to have Cm9 (beta 8) but i wanted to return to my operator stock ROM so i flash it with Odin, One package, but now it keeps rebootng i can see samsung logo and then Telcel (splash screen o boot animation) it keeps doing it again and again i cant go to Download Mode via Home-vol down-power because my volumen key doesn't work (i brake it), i just need to know what to do? can i go to download mode via ADB or what help me
When phone switched off:
Home Button + Power - open recovery
Wipe Data and Cache, reboot
You could try Recovery mode and wipe.

Your might want to try PWR + HOME to get into Recovery Mode screen, then Wipe Data (Factory Reset), when done remove battery, wait 10 sec., then insert battery and boot normally... has worked for me on the orphaned S5830D SGAce w/ DTLKI4 f/w. BUT, be aware, all user settings and installed apps are vaporized !!! Stuff on /SDCARD is safe.
Cheers,
help please

One package? Aren't you supposed to use the one with the 5 different files and not just one? To make a completely clean stock rom install, I mean. If that's what you want.
I think he(or she) want a stock rom only. You need to do a full wipe after flash with odin. Maybe touch recovery helps you, but i cant find any . You can go to download mode by "adb reboot download" , i think it cant success without wipe.
Or maybe try to flash a rom with 5 files as SuperAce609 said.
No. You can't flash 2.3.6 directly.
You need to flash 2.3.3 first , then 2.3.4 and last 2.3.6 using Odin.
Sent from my impulses.

so simple.....
lol. u guys didnt even try to understand what his problem in the first place. atleast read the first post properly before giving suggestions.
the poor guy had his vol up and down button broke, and u suggest him to wipe data in recovery.
thing is his vol up and downn button doesnt work! so how can he navigate in recovery? lol
btw op, u said that u flashed onepackagee file via odin. so how did u manage to go into download mode in the first place when your vol down button is busted?
if u managed to go into download mode again, this time flash the full package instead.

My phone was running 2.2.1 Froyo. I tried to upgrade it to 2.3.6 using process mentioned here. http://androidadvices.com/update-gal...wktm-firmware/
The Odin completed successfully and restarted the phone. But the phone was running spanish language. I was getting an alert after every 3-4 seconds. But i could not read it as it was spanish. I restarted the phone and it went in boot loop. The phone keeps rebooting every 2 seconds.
I can't get into recovery mode but I can get to download mode.
I have tried flashing many ROMs from sammobile.com but none of them is working.
hi everybody
I bought this phone and the home button not working
first i want somebody to tell if have a custom rom or is the original ICS (See attachment)
Second, how can i check the button, like before boot
victorlht88 said:
looks like its running on stock rom.
you can try flashing another rom via odin, i've faced the same issue before when i removed certain apks in custom roms before flashing.
else boot into recovery mode and see if your home button can function when you make the selections.

Stock Recovery !
The G-Note has a stock recovery function as well. Just turn off your phone and hold the volume-up + Home + Power to enter into recovery. if this is successful then your home button functionality is good.

Hi
I just tried to flash v4.3b of the Hydracore Kernel from the v6 beta. It said it had installed successfully and I went to clear the cache but then my phone suddenly went off and now the phone won't boot. The Samsung Galaxy Note GT N7000 screen comes up but then nothing but the capacitive buttons illuminate when touched. I can't boot into CWM recovery (Power + Volume Down) nothing happens once the GTN7000 splash screen goes away. I can get the phone into the Samsung recovery and download mode
What can I do to get my phone working again?
what rom were u on?
Guessing you're on a cm based build?

you need to press power + home + vol UP for cwm
you need to press power + home + vol DOWN for download mode
start phone closed and release power key when you see galaxy note writing on the screen

Thanks for that, didn't know about that combination. So used to rebooting into recovery while the phone is on.
B4you try take the battery out for 5min then do as he says. Bet you are on cm... though it is supposed to work . I've used it on dozens of roms ,no prob ,but wont touch cm. don't see the need for them anymore. Phones don't need stripped roms to go FAST anymore ...
I've had this. Like I say take batt out. Put in then hold vol up ,power ,home .when Samsung comes on you can let go ,or hold until cwm shows, it will. Hope you made a backup .when I flash a rom I flash v4at the same time ,no problems. Why use a beta and not the complete one ?

Hi,
After we change the recovery from TWRP to Philz, my note wont up just show the Samsung Galaxy Note ... then blank...
I try to connect via odin, but odin wont recognize also, from v1.85 ~ 3.10
Anyone can help ? is there hard bricked my galaxy note ?
In the other hand, we can inside into ODIN mode, when starting using VOL DN + HOME + PWR
Please help ...
Thanks
Take note, for N7000 you can't change recovery without changing the kernel.
You must ODIN flash a stock kernel to fix it.
Howto do it now ?
Fortunately i can go to safe mode with VOL UP + HOME + PWR
then return the backup
My experience wouldn't to try again update to Kitkat for N7000, very very slow processing ..
Just keep working on ICS
Thanks

No problem I guess? If you want stock Jellybean (4.1.2) you can try updating via Samsung Kies. Just install on PC, enable USB debug and let it detect your phone.
If you ever wanna try a KitKat ROM you can refer here
