Update from Marware - Nexus 7 Accessories

From their latest Facebook post:
Hello and thank you to all you Nexus 7 folks,
We thank you all for your support, encouragement, and for your interest in seeing new Marware cases for the Nexus 7.
Like our customers, we are passionate about our products and if we can't do it right, we'd rather not do it. With this in mind we are sorry to report that there have been development and production delays on Nexus 7 products.
Marware is a company that prides itself on loyal customer service and just as soon as we have more information, we will be sure to pass it along! On a high note, we will be offering cases for the Galaxy S III phone SOON!

Needless to say; I'm a bit disappointed as I assume many other Nexus 7 owners will be as well.

I'm not happy with that answer from Marware since they announced iPhone 5 and Kindle Fire HD cases before each were released, but we still haven't seen anything for an N7.
I like their products and have one of their cases on an iPad 2, but this is taking too long for the Nexus tablet.

They missed the boat, simple as that. There are now so many cases available for the N7 they couldn't hope to recoup the costs of making their own one.

Which Nexus 7 Did you order? and Did you buy the case?

Just curious for anyone who preordered for the Google Play Store...Did anyone order the official case that they sell? I bought the 16gig and the case the first day at like 3pm and im wondering if thats whats holding mine up can anyone confirm getting the case and the 16 gig?
I ordered 16gb and would have bought a case but they weren't listed in the UK play store when I ordered IIRC.

The 8gb model is perfect for people like my sister or my mum. They just want to use it for internet browsing around the house. Mine on the other hand, will be used for more than that, such as listening to music and watching movies offline.

There's absolutely no need for yet another thread about orders/deliveries - there are stickies where you can discuss such matters.

Lmao, samsung troll apple.

In a recent fine against samsung. Samsung had to pay $1 billion to apple. So what did samsung do? They sent apple 30 trucks full of 5 cent coins.

This started as an article on a Mexican humor site, like their equivalent of The Onion, and was picked up by Yahoo! Finance.
Then several other sites re-reported it. Unfortunately, it has no basis in reality.

Yeah i just done a google search, and found the same info. Sorry guys.

You realize this is a spoof right?
It's got as much credibility as the jury's decision.
Anyone that wants to read all about the shoddy, inconsistent and flawed the decision was, here is a good start.
http://www.groklaw.net/article.php?story=2012082510525390
Anyone that thinks this will stand needs to get a grip on reality. I know the American judicial and patent system is broken, but surely a jury that was being steered by a single person is NOT a jury, a jury that made up their mind on the first day and spent less than 90 seconds on each decision is NOT a jury, a jury that wanted to get home for the weekend is NOT a jury...
Saw this in my feeds, too. It's just a hoax and isn't really Nexus 7 related anyway.

Why Missing Out On The Nexus 4 May Have Been A Good Thing

Interesting article..

Funny, that's pretty much why I bought the Nexus.

Kind of just like 100 other articles. And, in this case, I don't see anywhere where the reviewer even owns an N4 yet. Not saying that you are wrong, but reading a critical review of a product that the reviewer doesn't own yet doesn't scream of credibility. Just my 2 cents.

Don't get me wrong; I don't necessarily agree with the writer. Just an interesting point of view. I'm getting the n4 at next availability!

Just that it is designed/targeted to be a more mainstream device rather than a "developer's phone", so to speak.
Running out of time to hack/tweak/flash but really enjoy the Android experience after 4 years with an iPhone. The more and more polished and mainstream the Nexus experience becomes, the better -- for me, of course.
This is what I think about LTE right here.
LTE or not this phone is boss. Some people with LTE can't reach these speeds... Article=Failure.

Screw LTE.

Bought this one yesterday and got it in 1 day by mail (Netherlands) and it's a good and sollid cover.
Like the function that when you open it your screen turns on.
Only: 24,95 (euro's) free shipping (Europe)
Gecko Covers
Perfect Fit
I was waiting for someone in my car so i got a little bored. Seems that my N7 fits perfectly in my Nissan Almera
It's a good combo with the cover and sygic :good:
I use one of these as well but I noticed a few other brands (ie: Targus) have the exact same thing.
This is one of the standard style cases available. Cheap eBay from China ones for around $8 and Amazon ones from various companies for $12-20. Plenty of threads in this subforum about them. This is for USA folk who read this thread since for all I know you've found the cheapest price for delivery to the Netherlands.

Doesn't really surprise me, though there can be quality differences, between the eBay version and others.

I'm 100% sure, tgis is just a promo move. Like any year, they look for someone to promote. Dx0 was also a big lie.
The best judge is our eyes after all.
We will teste the new screen and see how good or not so good is.
If we are not happy simple we have the right as customers return the device through the return policy of oneplus directly or retailers who sell the device like Amazon.
But I'm very optimistic not to say confident that will be minimum on par with Sammy top line panels like we see at Galaxy S10 line.
DisplayMate has very strong reputation and years of experience and very high quality standards testing panel not only at smartphone but other electronic mobile device like tablet or laptop and don't think if something is not as good they're gone lie and tried just promote for the shake of promoting.

For a new device, It's an important positive ratings start...
Officially Oneplus 7 pro display has been rated as A+. Can we expect the display clarity like one in samsung galaxy S10.
