okie.i try it . thank you.
Do what Chris95X8 suggested. And also TURN OFF your antivirus before doing all of this. If it still says files are missing, redownload everything and unlock your bootloader while your antivirus is off.

can u help me fix it? just installed MiniCM7 on this X8
please somebody.. respond :/
What is your phone's simlock certificate? Is it SEMC SIMLOCK Certificate or Not Recognized SIMLOCK Certificate? And have you tried to relock your phone's bootloader and check whether your SIM Card is recognized?
before i install MiniCm7 i think it was saying SEMC SIMLOCK Certificate...
and if i relock it the phone will be bricked :/
edit: made it sure. it's SEMC SIMLOCK Certifticate
respond please :/ i really need a solution
You can go back to stock ROM and stock kernel and then relock the bootloader. Please make sure though.
really good idea
that's the right kernel? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1567687&highlight=stock+kernel
and that the right rom? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1099931
i know how to flash the kernel, but how the rom? or do i have to flash the stock rom with the recovery from the custom kernel before i flash the stock kernel?
msm7227_setool.cmd
try this

[Q] MSM7227 stuck on waiting.

I was following the guide to unlock the bootloader for the Xperia X8 and have gotten here:

It's been stuck on waiting for at least 15 minutes. There's also no USB Debugging notification, leading me to believe that the phone is disconnected. What should I do? Should I just reconnect the phone or redo the whole process?
Never mind. Just disconnected the phone and rebooted it and restarted the program and now it works.

Root Xperia Z1 (4.4.4 official), install recovery

Hello Sirs,
First of all, I did search about this topic and I couldn't find the answers I'm look for. (may be my search skills are so bad). I apologize if there is already a thread related to this.
So here is my issue.
1. Updated my Xperia Z1 (India) to official 4.4.4 update via OTA. I rooted the phone using EasyRootTool_v8. Everything looked good and I used root uninstaller app to uninstall Walkman (before backing up). Now I need it back because I felt Walkman 8.4.A.1.4 works better. So I tried to get it back by downloading the same exact walkman APK and put it in system folder with full permission and restarted the phone and that got installed. But everytime I restart the phone it says "Android is upgrading". After this when I try to open walkman it says "Unfortunately walkman has stopped"
2. So I tried to install the Dual Recovery and it says success, but with read only errors. The reason why I needed recovery it to flash everything from scratch and go back to 100% official built so walkman would work.
Here are the results of EasyRootTool v8 and Dual Recovery:

Please help as I'm very very new to this..
First, correct me if I'm wrong. Walkman 8.4.A.1.4 is on Android 4.4.3, isn't it?
I don't think so. But I received this update for Walkman only after updating to 4.4.4. By the way. I managed to root install the recovery successfully. Just waiting for the stock rom download to complete so I can flash it.

Attempting to get root access for installation using TowelRoot now.
NOTE: this only works on certain ROM/Kernel versions
If it fails, please check the development thread (Post #2) on XDA for more detai

REMEMBER THIS:
XZDualRecovery does NOT install any superuser app

Did you wipe data and cache and apps log?
Try another Rom, or even downgrade it

After flashing by flash tools, you'll lose your root access, I think
But you can lock your boot loader and then try again
