i didn't take a close look at 8.9. but i never notice any apps for voice or video recording? if yes, what are those apps call? and are there any limitation, like maximum amount of minutes it is able to record per file?
if there are limitation, do you guys recommend any other free apps in android for voice or video recording? thx in advance.

Video recording is integrated into the Camera app, you can switch between still pictures or movie recording.

Is there any app which will record voice/audio in a way that continues to record after you leave the app? Ever note etc will records your voice but if you want to multitask and go to the browser, it stops.
- Thanks
Hi
I have noticed this a few times now that when I record something in Voice Recorder app the quality is appalling....its very bad. But when I shoot a video the sound quality suddenly improves. It becomes much better. I don't want to shoot videos every time even when I just want to record some voice. Video takes a lot of memory. So I would like to request the intelligent and smart people here to look into it and hopefully come out with a solution.
Thanks in advance.
There are plenty of screen recorders available at Google Playstore. Some are paid, some are free. But many of them are not supported with lollipop. So today I'm going to shortlist them in this post :fingers-crossed:
Please note that all screen recorder can record the App sound now. Thanks to the API provided by Google
Free:
1. AZ Screen Recorder: This is my personal favorite. It's a great screen recording app with floating widget. It can record up to 40 FPS. The max resolution is 1080p which gives 30-35FPS while recording at 8Mbps. It has no watermark, unlimited recording, great frame-rate. It doesn't even make games laggy. The only con is that it'll record both of the audio from mic and from device (app sound, device's sound). Hope, this will be fixed in future update.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hecorat.screenrecorder.free
2. SCR 5+ Screen Recorder Free: The great SCR is back with the 5.0 support. Though it's an EARLY BETA build with limited features like recording up to 3 mins and watermark will be there. If you like it, then consider purchasing the Pro version of it
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iwobanas.screenrecorder.noroot.free
Paid:
1. SCR 5+ Screen Recorder Pro: It's the Pro version of the previous free one. It's a flexible screen recorder equipped with all features you need in a screen recorder. Smooth recording with no lag on Nexus 6.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iwobanas.screenrecorder.noroot.pro
Free With IAP:
1. Rec. (Screen Recorder): Nice screen recorder but not with all features in free version like it'll record for certain time and audio recording time limit is very less. It offers IAP which will allow to upgrade it to the pro version which unlocks all the features you need. This is unique cause of its one unique feature which allow users to record video of their desired resolution. To be specific in which resolution user want. For example 720x1080.

2. ilos screen recorder -Lollipop: Another free recorder with IAP which unlock all pro features

I think there is some problem with the ROM which you're using. Never faced such issues till now. Used all of them but now using AZ Screen Recorder as a primary recorder. For reference, visit my channel. All the videos were recorded with AZ Screen Recorder. Even it records at 60 FPS. I record at 720p btw. See this YouTube video. Smooth recording at 720p 60 FPS
I guess so. What ROM are you using?
I might just go back to stock. Too much sh** going on hehe.

Hi
My camera record slow motion video but when recording was done and when i want set slow motion speed the setting button not working.
Is there any guide for this?
Thank you everyone
#edit# i have this problem with all video files! Setting button has no functionality!! #
I think it's camera bug or 'slow motion' doesn't support some video formats. In some firmwares there were that problems. You can flash another firmware or install other camera app that supports slow motion.

Thank you for your answer
I want to know is every one phones same as me or not?
please some huawei p10 owners tell about their slow motion mode.
can you change slow motion speed or not ?
I had a similar problem but managed to find the solution. When I got my phone, I uninstalled/blocked all of the bloatware. Amongst these programs was also the Videos application, which I blocked. It appeared that this app was needed to edit the videos. Now that I have it unblocked everything is working fine again.
The slow motion and sometimes video recordings are unpredictable as for performance. I think the SLO-MO is bugus. Never worked for me, only intermittent..
Which video app do you mean ? by title and if I uninstall will the camera app still work. I will not be editing in my phone. I have fabulous slomo at hoghest frame rate but the other 2 speeds do not work. If I remove will ithey now work ? Also slo mo ar highest speed have no control over film captured action duration . Thought it would continue recording slomo till I pressed stop ?
Hope for answers for my P20 Pro
thanks
