I get SMS messages from two places that use an Email Address rather then a ShortCode or Phone Number. I would like to use a custom notification for Emails, SMS and calls from this particular contact. I have looked for apps that do this but they all seem to need a phone number or shortcode (at least that is what I think the 5 digit codes are called.) Anyone have any ideas?

So I have been able to find threads about sending SMS upon call hangups or missed calls, and threads about blocking calls. However I need the union of the two.
I want to send a text message whenever a call is blocked saying something like: "call rejected, reason:blacklist. Text me with your name so I can add you to contacts list." I know spammers will never do this, but I also dont want to send this text to my friends every time I miss a call.
So if anyone knows how to use the Tasker app well (maybe to compose an SMS whenever I get a call from someone not in contacts) or the DND settings on MIUI, you would be a true hero.

"Auto SMS reply for blocked calls"
This issue has only been happening recently, but I don't know what to make of it. All of my contacts are stored as 10-digit phone numbers on my phone (area code+7-digit phone number). I don't have any SIM contacts or Google contacts. For some reason, while I can text everyone just fine using the stored numbers, *sometimes* replies come from completely malformed numbers. For example, if I send a text to 123-123-1234, I'll get a reply from 123-312-31234. All my replies will come from the number with the random extra digit mixed in, but I can only send messages to the original 10-digit number for them to actually be sent. This has never happened to me with calls so far, just texts. What could be causing this?

Hello, I get a lot of work related SMS Messages and missing them means I potentially miss money. I used to use an app to change the SMS tone based upon the sender, but now that I have switched carriers from Sprint to Straight Talk/ATT the SMS Messages seem to come from a random number that is incremented by one each message that comes in. The text of the message usually starts the same with From: Sender and I want have a different alert tone based upon the sender or text within the message. Is there an easy way to do this? Also is there any alternative SMS app that I can have group these messages together as a conversation based upon the sender? Basically, I want the functionality I had under ICS on the Epic 4g Touch on my Note. Thanks in advance for all your comments and suggestions.
I'm a firefighter and I use an app called cadpage that sends my calls to my phone, with mapping and other info. Before kitkat, cadpage would intercept the messages and I would not receive them in my SMS client. Now with kitkat, because of the way SMS is handled, there is no way to block this. The problem with blacklisting these messages is that each new message has a different number, for example, 1210100302...they increase sequentially. Is there an app or does anyone know of a way to block a group or sequence of numbers?
I'm trying to find a way to show business contacts' names when they call me from a range of numbers. Due to all of the spam calls I get, I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number/name.
For example, my doctor's office main number is xxx-yyy-0500. When they call me, their number has the same prefix and exchange, but the last numbers can be 0490-0510. I'd like to use wildcards to recognize and show the doctor's name for any and all of those numbers.
Has anyone done this before and can share their profile/task?
Let me try again. I'm trying to find a way to match the first 6 or more digits of an incoming call to an existing contact to account for the multiple numbers they may call me from. Maybe reading the phone number into an array to compare. Something like this for example?
Phone Ringing
If C:ANY or C:ANY(1-6)
Say Incoming call from %CNAME
End If
