Hey guys
Few days ago I've unlocked my bootloader nd now m facing a critical problem.
When I insert a sim into my x8 it got bootlooping.
But its works fine without sim card or in Airplane mode.
Please help me.

I had already done this nd also switched between stock and custom roms but nothing works

Or Maybe works fullwipe and reflashing rom.
Buddy I've changed many kernels and roms. Every time i do a full wipe before flashing.

Or try format sd card in your pc other phone or whatever. Maybe is sdcard have bug, or sdcard is broken?!

Then restart. And if doesn't work you must catch a leprechaun and put it in the hardrive. Then throw it at a policeman.

Try installing another rom?
if you try out a few roms and they all dont work, then its properly a hardware error.

First time i installed Fear rom i had the same problem. I simply reinserted the sim card after some cleaning, rebooted the phone and it was all fine again

IMHO, first thing to do is check your SD Card. Do you see it under CWR ? Can you plug it into another material ? PC, phone, Camera, Nintendo DS, etc... ?
f you can see it somewhere else, then your flash gone bad. Just flash again.
i dont completely understand what you mean, but i can see my SD Card in my pc, other phone, and in CWR.

my sim works in my other phones
I was pointing out to bbkdhumm that he got your post mixed up. I'm sorry, but I can't help with your problem, aside from suggesting you flash a different ROM. I've not had any problems with the one from www.romkitchen.org
imma try the stock dutch rom... downloading now. its 633mb so still downloading but i hope it works... ive read it does a complete reset..

HELPP!! my w8 got this damaged SD card error constantly and i cant fix it , i flash my phone back to stock and it's so dam buggy , the screen keeps going blank and not showing a dam thing but the sd card is damaged error is still there! i formatted like 5 times and i flash to stock like 4 times today but to no luck , it reads every now and then , then the problem comes back ..i changed to my sis's SD card but again to no luck WAD THE HELL?? i cant root cause no SD card ....is it a hardware problem or software problem?? i really out of luck now ..please help!

since u tried everything,cud be a problem wiff the phone again
DAMM that's why i am so darn pissed...all is going well ( finally ) my launcher looks sexy , my milocker looks great all is smooth and beautiful then this problem came ...i formatted and used different SD card but theres no help , as far as i know i never touch the sd card compartment of my phone , can i go to the retailer and get it fixed with my warranty? now it's readable since i just flash it back to stock ...i fixed my phone before when i hard bricked it but now imma wanting to fix it again...will he do it? oh and is this a hardware problem? is my w8 a crappy pick? really sad since all my hard work just vanished ....luckily my music and vids are in my pc ...T.T

show it to them,if its phone problem then it will cum under warranty(since u hav tried diff sd cards and provided that ur phone is still under warranty )
they better repair it!! gotta tell my dad to help me...i cant even take a picture , when i take one it will disappear a second later, i cant do jack!! wish me luck!
o yeah does there have a limit to my warranties? can i keep fixing when my phone got a non related to me problems? 1 more will root corrupt your phone's sd card reader?

I ask my friend to sent to retailler
I sent to third party (supplier)
and now I swear I don't wanna play with bootloader again, until my warranty left for 1 month I will try onemore time to unlocking bootloader
hope I can success there!

Its true that new release of w8/x8 come with some ****ty trap and sort off, I can confirm this.. My advice is to stick with the stock kernel for a while until some dev can figure this out..
Btw** if you actually hit the bootloop after unlocking bootloader you should try to relock it, it might help
i didn't try to unlock bootloader ...is my phone's sd card reader(?) going all Fked up! it reads the sd card sometimes and sometimes says sd card damaged ...change sd cards till same problem...cant stand it

i just bought it like a month ago...cant change it =( i wanted the xperia mini atually but my dad bought a w8...broke my heart actually
I cant unlock my sim card cause there is no asking for pin , and my sim can't be unlocked cause of that can someone put fix anyhow? rom is awesome and one of the best , no lags , super clean , pls help

I tried but its same nothing changed no network but when i put another card that i bought on traffic shop that has no pin cod it loads like any other phone , problem is with rom i think :/

Done. If I now power off phone and start, first I see default display without logg simcard. Whan I power off display and restart, I see ask for my pincode.
Why did my phone shows no service on the screen,but i already insert sim card.this happens after i upgrade my xperia x8 into ICS using MiniCM9.

Try rebooting your phone.. if doesnt work remove the back cover and reinsert the sim card....if the problem persists try changing back to gingerbread or stock sony eclair....:highfive:

You need to relock your bootloader first ..then flash stock 2.1 ..on your phone and see if your network working ..if working you can continued to upgrade ..mine works with this .

no need to relock, you can just flash the 2.1 stock firmware directly from the flashtool
