BubbleUpnp issue - Motorola Droid Bionic

Has anyone tried using BubbleUpnp with any of the ICS leaks? I am running .232 and have an issue where if I select my bionic as the Local Media server nothing seems to be able to stream to my DLNA renderer (I have tried multiple renderers so I am sure that is not the issue). I have tried both stock and custom roms and both were a no-go. I am considering FXZing back to 905 to try it out but that is a huge hassle, was hoping someone could confirm the issue.

Also not working on Krylon 360's ICS, I have two nook colors running it and it doesn't work on either one.
I am also running CM9 (9-20120727-unofficial-vs660) on my LG VS660 (Vortex) and it is working.
I've noticed I can't ping either of my Nooks but I can ping my Vortex, I'm wondering if the two are related but I have been unable to find anything on Krylon's ROM that is blocking pings.
I've noticed sometihng similar on my Motorola Milestone 2 on Cyanogenmod 9, which is also 4.0.4. While running Samba Filesharing, the device doesn't reply my pings. More than that, it makes the phone having no internet connection anymore. When Samba filesharing has been turned off, I have to turn wifi off and on, and from then on, the phone regains internet connectibity and replies to pings from my windows PC again. Samba Filesharing is the latest version directly from Google Play, 111107m.
There is a patch that makes this Samba Filesharing working on platforms that are newer than ICS (My other phone, a Samsung Galaxy S2 has JB, and Samba works there with this patch), but this patch doesn't work on my Motorola.
Additionally, I've encountered another issue inside Samba Filesharing: I'm unable to set 'second shared folder'. The app says:
'No other read+write FAT based filesystems were detected'
My SD-Card is already in a FAT based format.
Besides, looking around in the Android filesystem of my Cyanogenmod 9 on the Motorola AND my Samsung's JellyBean showed to me, that the android filesystem's structure regarding the mount points have changed and looked quite different than those from Gingerbread. Maybe, this could be a reason, why Samba Filesharing doesn't find my SD-card and showing this error message on 'second shared folder'? But this still doesn't explain the crashing of wifi, when Samba Filesharing is active.
Any ideas?

[Q] Video Streaming Doesn't Work While Connected to WiFi

Hey guys,
You can find a summary of what I've done to my HTC One in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48582638.
On top of that, I've changed my Cell ID to the Google Play version (GOOGL001), I flashed the RUU with the Google Play version RUU, and I've installed the 4.4.2 OTA update from Google's servers.
Everything else works fine. Just when I'm connected to WiFi, videos don't load or stream. I've tried connecting to three different WiFi sources (my house, my work, my parents') just incase there was an IP conflict or something; and still the same problem.
None of the apps that stream video work (YouTube, Vevo, Android's Video Player, etc.), except for Vine. I should mention that video streaming works on any browser, it's just the Android apps that don't work.
Do you think this is a problem with what I've done to my phone, the 4.4.2 OTA update, or something else?
Thanks.
- Brian
I've tried troubleshooting some more and still nothing!
Does anyone know of an HTC One ROM directly from Google? Or can anyone help me out in any other way?

Chromecast suddenly stopped playing Showbox links

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if there's a known reason for it or solution to fix it.
A couple of days ago, my Chromecast quit playing links from Showbox and I can't figure out why. I used to get a show or movie here or there that Avia would say isn't compatible but now it's suddenly showing the error for literally everything I click, even episodes I successfully played a couple of days ago. It's not a shoebox issue because Avia will play the video until I hit the cast button.
Thinking it was my phone or Avia, I tried my wife's phone and Allcast with no success. I also thought maybe a Chromecast OTA broke compatibility, but I'm still on 15250. I even tried a factory rest on the Chromecast and wiping data on the apps involved.
I'm just out of ideas at this point. Anyone know what could be going on?
My wife and I both have Nexus 5's. She's stock and I'm on Paranoid Android.

That app isn't talked about here and a Mod will lock or delete this thread.

Sorry but showbox isn't allowed on xda because it violates copyrights and posting about it may get you and xda in trouble.

Cast button available, but cannot connect to Chromecast

Chromecast, stock build 22062. Was working fine a couple of days ago. Then all of the sudden one night from my phone (rooted Galaxy S3, Likewise S5 ROM) I could see the cast button in RealPlayer Cloud, but when I pushed it it would act like it was connecting for a while, and then the cast button would disappear and reappear. However, there was no change on the TV screen - it stayed on the Chromecast background. Doing some more investigation I found that none of the Chromecast apps would connect to it (Netflix, Youtube, etc.). If I go into the actual Chromecast app it would see my Chromecast, and I can see all of the info about it, but if I click on "Backdrop" it scans the network and then says "No Chromecasts found."
I could go onto my Nexus 7, and everything worked fine - I could cast from everything perfectly. However, after I rebooted the Nexus, it started having the same problem as well. I can not cast from anything. It sees the Chromecast, but cannot connect. Now none of my Android devices work with it.
I tried factory resetting the Chromecast. I could connect to the Chromecast and set it up, but it did not solve my problem. The only thing that does work is casting a tab from my laptop.
My thought is this has something to do with my router setup. I have a Watchguard XTM-25, and I am outside the US blocking Google DNS requests. About a week ago I made some configuration changes on my router (bridged two interfaces together) but this should not have affected the Chromecast - it and all the devices go through one access point on the same side of the bridge). Indeed, everything worked after I made the change. I have, however, reverted to the previous setup just in case and still nothing works. It worked for more than a year with this setup.
Any ideas on where I should start looking to fix this? It almost seems that the Chromecast is only able to communicate in one direction - it can't receive anything from any Android device (although it does from my laptop), but it is sending out the signal saying it is there. It is basically useless as it is.
Thanks in advance!
Update: If I connect to a different subnet which goes through a VPN everything works fine, so I am sure it is in router settings. However, I still don't know what to look for.

I've had exactly the same issues with my HTC One Max and HTC EVO LTE. Daughters GS4 works with the 6.5.87 version on my WIFI and my HTC does not work on her home WIFI. After doing everything you've described with no help, I noticed this occured with a recent update of Google Play Services to 6.5.87. I uninstalled it and sideloaded an older version from apkmirror.com (6.1.88) and my Chromecast world was right again. Unfortunatley Google would do a "stealth" upgrade within 24hr back to 6.5.87. So I tried sideloading the newest version (6.5.88). Now You Tube and Google Play Music work fine but the cast button doesn't even show up on the 3rd party apps (TuneIn, Pocket Casts, NetFlix etc.). Don't know what it means, maybe an API incomptability? Hoping for some updates to Services or the apps that will fix this.

Thanks. I tried going back to 6.5.86 but unfortunately it didn't fix it in my case.

I think if you try 6.1.88 you'll find it will work. My question is why and how to fix it.
Same happened to me this week, my SG3 works fine as always with the Chromecast but my SGN 10.1 suddenly stopped working. Cast button is on and Chromecast app can see it but it never connects.

Can't cast to chromecast

I've tried 3 different Roms, all stock based and one stock and whenever I go to cast to my Chromecast it connects then immediately disconnects. Any ideas? I can cast my nexus9 to it no problem. Also, I cannot connect to android auto. Plug the phone in and all it does is repeatedly flash google play services has stopped until I unplug it. This is on multiple roms stock and AOSP based. Thanks.

Do you have root on your chromecast? I.e., running community modified firmware... if you are, then I have an idea what the problem probably is
I didn't even know that it could be rooted. I don't think it is the Chromecast because my tablet casts to it fine

Ok, then that theory is out the window.
Yes, chromecast can be rooted, IFF you do so *BEFORE* exposing it to the internet and allowing it to update.

Two questions;
1) Have you tried a full wipe of the Nexus 6?
2) Is your N6 properly connecting to your wifi network?
I have not a full wipe, I've been flashing Roms and wiping all but user data in between each one. I've tried to connect before restoring any apps and it still doesn't work. When I get home today I was going to try and do a full factory restore and see if that works. And yes, it connects to my WiFi network just fine.
