I was wanting to speed up my Thrill so I decided to flash this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1546103. After flashing it, my device is stuck at the LG logo and every 30 seconds or so, there is a quick staticy noise. Can someone please help? Im pretty sure I was on the latest Cyanogen rom and I have CWR touch installed. And since i am stuck at the LG logo, i have no sd card access I'm pretty sure. Also, all of my backups were accidently deleted without me noticing when i fixed a previous problem
That kernel isn't compatible with CM7. Reflash CM7 or a CM7 compatible kernel.

So I have one of the original 'lucky' i9000m phones with working recovery and download.
I was on Darky's resurrection 9.2 ROM and it was working fine for the past month or so and then the Facebook app buggered up some stuff.
Blah blah, long story short after the last time I did a Wipe Data/System from CWM, it is now stuck at the White on black Galaxy S boot logo (not the loading animation).
tried reflashing the ROM but no luck. I can still of course go into recovery and download, so I'm not worried about it being a brick, just want to be able to use my phone.
Any ideas?
EDIT: I also tried flashing CM7 on here again. Same deal, it flashes on fine, it even swaps out to the CM7 boot screen (again not the loading animation) but won't go any further.
I don't think it's a brick, but I'm running out of ideas.
Nevermind.
Flashed CM7 again and used the latest nightly initial package. Worked like a charm
In an attempt to get the paid apps for free i renamed the build.prop of my phone and replaced it with another one.
But now my phone it stuck in a bootloop >...<
It loop several times and then it just turns off..
Not feeling like flashing it again since i just had it finished..
Can someone help me, if possible without whiping/flashing my sd.
Only flashing new rom with odin, but You lose userdata and instaled apps.
It's called karma.

I have rooted my lg thrill using ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.4.3 a while back.I noticed the battery would drain fast.So I wiped the data on the phone thinking that would help I did not make a back up.When the phone booted back up i see the lg logo then it takes me straight into cwm. So I downloaded a rom to put on there. It said the rom installed. But when I reboot again I see the same thing lg logo then cwm.Is there any thing I can do now or is it like a concrete brick?
I also tried to install omap drivers and couldn't get them installed. Please help

I recently bought a LG Optimus Black (LG-P970g is what it says under the battery). The phone came with Android 4.0.4. The battery life was terrible and I wanted to try Cyanogenmod to see if I could get better life (and more features).
I was able to root the phone and install ROM Manager. I went through the Flash ClockworkMod Recovery option and it said I successfully flashed it. I put the ROM on the SD card and had ROM Manager restart into recovery mode. However, instead of booting up I get the LG screen with 'Security Error' on it and then the phone shuts off.
How can I get the phone back up?
Resmartflash. Or try to access recovery via bootloader. Or adb reboot recovery. I think you flashed a gb rom on ics bootloader... which is not working.

I was able to use SmartFlash and a GB rom to get the phone back up and running. Now to see if I can get it up to cyanogenmod.
Looking for some help if available. Rooted and flashed customer recovery per the instructions, but I'm stuck in a boot loop. It goes from the note 4 screen to the tmobile screen, then loops over and over again. I then flashed the TEKXodus ROM and kernel from my SD card. Still boot looping, but now has the dolby screen instead of the tmobile screen. Anybody know where I went wrong? I could use some help. Thanks!
There are multiple threads regarding random reboot and power off within last month Ive never seen so many reports of a device with same issue and its all from T-Mobile note 4 . It must be a Samsung problem which they wont fix cuz we broke warranty by rooting

Perhaps you tried installing a ROM for a different Baseband version. Do you know that your Baseband is it will end in DOK2, COD6 or DOG1 depending on what updates you have applied? Once you figure that out you can download the build files and flash your phone using ODIN. That will get you back to right out of the box.
