[Q] How to download ROMs from multi/mega upload

Hi all,
Most of the ROM's posted in the development sections are uploaded on Multiupload/Megaupload. However, I can't download the ROM's now that these sites have been blocked by US. Is there any way around to download these? If not, may I request developers to upload the ROM's somewhere else as well?
I stay in India and I have been trying to download Sense ROM's for my G1.

Come on guys, no one else facing this problem? Multiupload and Megaupload working for you guys?

No they arent, developers are adding mirrors and uploading to other sites, what you should do is post on specific threads for the roms you want asking for a mirrior or alternative download option. On older roms that arent being worked on anymore you may have little luck unless some nice person gives you a link, on newer threads the devs will surley put out new download links for everyone. Just ask

I know ROM thread is the best place to raise this question. But I can't post there as I am new here. I was trying to download FroSense v1.0 which is hosted on a now blocked site. Appreciate if someone can post a mirror link in ROM thread from where I can download it then.

[Answer] Zeus ROM DL Links not working

Hi,
since some people in the Zeus ROM thread posted about having problems with the Mediafire downloads and since I'm not allowed to reply in the Dev Thread because of the "you must have at least 10 useless posts before you can post here"-rule, here's the answer in a new thread:
Use the mirror links provided in the blog.
The mirror site requires login.
Instead of registering and getting your inbox spammed, use the following credentials:

i have a [COLOR="Black"]optimus black[/COLOR] v20b and i want to root!!!! please dont to redirect me to noob how to thread and other ob rooting related thread!!!
so i have a couple of queries
is rooting still working with lg esteem method for gb(i used it for froyo) and if yes i want links and how too
i am comfortable with flashing a custom rom via smart flash tool so give a link to valid file(i downloaded a file from other thread it said it was 200 something mb but the download completed at 168 mb and file was corrupted, so a valid file or a link
any other method___________________________
my reason for rooting
1 phone over heating
2 too much sh*tstone apps into the stock rom
3 custom roms for ics etc
4 over clocking
5 super user access(MEH!!!!)
6 some awesome plugins like beats audio etc
AND I PLZ SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can understand that forum got a bit clumpsy to look for desired informaion, but it was not so much hard. Here you go :-
1. Download PATCHED_BIN_LGP970-V20b-CIS-MAR-05-2012-by-Snegovik.7z(http://www.getzilla.net/files/3111935/patched_bin_lgp970_v20b_cis_mar_05_2012_by_snegovik.7z.html) and extract it somewhere in root of C or anywhere of your computer.
2. Download SmartFlashTool_External.rar(http://www.mediafire.com/?eia8r5bgid97ejq) and extract it somewhere in root of C or anywhere of your computer.
3. Download Superuser.zip (http://www.mediafire.com/?a1re78800owv3aj) and copy it in root of your SD-cart!! DO NOT EXTRACT!!
4. Download and install LG_Drivers (http://www.mediafire.com/?3344hoszoczbt6q)
5. Power-off LG Optimus Black
6. Press and Hold Volume + Button and insert your USB cable.
7. You'll Enter to Upgrade mode and see S/W upgrade please wait while upgrading
8. Run B_SmartFlashTool_Extern.exe
9. Choose ROM copy D/L bookmark
10. Choose CP file: [PATCHED]V20B_CIS.bin
11. Choose AP file: V20B_DEU.fls
12. Click Start
Go to WC or make coffe or tea , or do whatewer you need , Do not stay near your computer
13. After successfully flashing
phone will reboot recovery
14. Wipe all data/factiry reset
15. Flash Superuser.zip
16. Reboot system now

After this your mobile should reboot and you will be with 2.3 Vb with super user.

Warning : you may brick your mobile but I rooted mymobile like this so its safe if you follow instructions carefully.

I Dont like the interface of many out of box android roms i just love my optimus ui.. and i have never used a motorola ui (cant remember what its called?!!!)
So is there a rom like motorola for optimus or touch wiz w/ ics?? Would Really love it!!! Other than that what are the substitutes,,
i used cyanogen's gb rom (cm 7 maybe)
I was left with a blunt rom with nothing really hated it..
So if a add a lg home launcher apk into the zeus rom and delete the zeus one will it work... as i said optimus ui has some great feature like catagories and looks

Sorry, but not if you need to fill in a survey to download the file. What is the file? Maybe there are other places you can get it. That would be a better question to ask.

That's too bad. it's a password for game i downloaded I really need it just that in my country those surveys are empty and always stay like that if it's necessary I can fill it with the required but i don't know the info to do so

Please help with this rom

Hello,
after testing lots of roms (i test almost every rom for galaxy ace that is posted at xda)
i finally found rom that looks like i want, work like i want and eh... its just perfect for me
there is one problem it is Chinese rom and i don't know why but gapps after install
are unable to connect via wi-fi so i cant setup my google acount
i think this is some kind of bug it work like this:
1. i flash gapps (ver. 2011, 2012 or the newest 2013 it doesnt matter tried them all)
2. after phone restart i have prompt for turn on wifi and setup account
3. i connecting to wifi and fill boxes with login and password to gmail account
4. after that trying to synchronize but its not working and after little time
i got message "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server"
i would never ask for help but i fill i found rom for me so please help
