No thank you..back to a ROM that actually will boot. Maybe I will try again in a few weeks when the bugs are worked out.
Confirmed working , Just let the gears spin and it kicks in eventually. Fairly large for a bare bones ROM but works as described.
Thanks for sharing Gecko225 , but alas back to my normal flavour of Android. I just need the tweaks and eye candy for my senses lol.

EDIT : Just realised that GApps was included in the ROM so size is just right.

Think my flash took around 5 mins maximum (if that) and the gears spun for a few mins and then I got the standard droid set up screens.
Maybe a bad/corrupt download ?

Not working for me. I stay stuck at the beginning of the Samsung screen. Really wish I could try this out as the screenshots look nice. I will say I am on CWM 6.0.1.2 and yes I read you have to be on 6.0.1.0 I just wanted to try...will be reverting just to try this out. Be back with the verdict.
Edit: Now on CWM 6.0.1.0 and still stuck Samsung screen...really sad since I wanted in on this Thx for the ROM anyway.

Hello,
Sounds like you could have had a bad flash or the possibility you weren't running version 6a.
Hopefully you made a nandroid backup before you flashed and you can restore that and try flashing the mod again.
This is the first reported fail after about 200 downloads of this modification.
Good luck, report back.

LOL i was stupid and didnt back up the rom but it wasnt much on there. But I forgot to say thank you in the first place. I'm about to backup the rom and re-try, will report back later

Screenshot can still be easily achieved just using the standard Power & Volume Down option. I know many devs throw in that screenshot mod to the reboot menu but to be it seems a little pointless. I will look into seeing what I can do, no promises..
Torch.. That I think is a ways off still.

HAAA i cracked it, and install to crecpo
I opened file updater-script (in zip) and find ro.product.device - changed parameter from "crespo4g" to "crespo"

I can confirm this works for nexus s! But after rebooting the haptic feedback for the touch buttons are really weak!
But what's weird is that I keep having to reinstall the xda app after every reboot, is the mod the cause of this?

I don't see why this mod would have anything to do with causing the XDA app to not stick.

Yep should work on the Nexus S after redoing the updater script. Haptic feedback was not affected or changed for this so it really should not be affecting it. In no way was files for haptic feedback even touched.

no one should be modifying anything in the rom to bypass assert checks if they are to use this specific recovery. this will cause other issues moving forward, if done.

you must confirm the MMC ERASE things as outlined above or it will hard brick these devices when let's say an operation like cache clear is executed. this is critical.

Bill I ran this as described, everything boots and works fine, but it wont load the launcher, it just says miuihome isnt responding and it loops "loading" I'll wipe my cashe and report back.

I had forgotten one of the bin files that is needed to get the MIUI shell to run, which in turn lets the Home app properly load

Hey Bill i'm getting random reboots after about 30 seconds on this, after full wipe tweaked, emmc.
I Got the log right after the reboot starts, lot of errors in the beginning. Trying a reflash. Same thing.

Just upgraded to 2.12.4, and it's the same issue as 2.12.7 originally: no sound through either the speaker, headphones or handset speaker. No Logcat because I'm not sure how to record a Logcat for the sound not working (as there's no specific fail point or error message).

Yes , it is a change of Android Version so would always advise a WIPE !

Dont game really so not looked but my roms dont normally contain any lag
Also at the moment overclocking is not possible as I am not a kernel dev unfortunately I will have to wait for the great minds to compile ner source code for the 4.2.2 release !

1- No as no Custom Kernel..!
2- I am already using another rom based on the same leak.. Play asphalt 7.. No lags here whatsoever.!

I will release a small update as I have just realised that I have left my no battery mod on my rom that I normally have for myself. The update will restore the battery but its working well is the rom overall !

FlashFire is a beta app and the date has expired. Please go to the FlashFire thread it's not a Rom issue.
set ur date back to 8/31/2015 it will work
Will this tripped knox?
One needs to install a custom recovery such as TWRP of CWM or a custom kernel to trip knox. Since that can't be done on a locked bootloader. If you've rooted your status will be custom, nevertheless, flashing this or any other stock Rom will not trip Knox
