Android SIP API on Samsung galaxy ace - Galaxy Ace S5830i General

Hey guys!
I'm developing an android app. I want to use the sip api that android sdk provides to you. But after try with some examples I finally so that SIP api is not working in my mobile, so I google it and I found that samsung remove the SIP api on his devices.
So my question is, if anybody knows if it's possible to put the android sip api on my device?
If not I will use others open source midlewares. but I prefer to continue with android sip api.
Thanks.

'Upload Disabled' in browser? [HELP CONVINCE GOOGLE TO ADD THIS BASIC FEATURE]

Has anyone figured out how to enable uploads in the browser? I can upload with opera mini so it's not a phone permission issue...
EDIT:
I thought that this was a specific issue with our phone, but amazingly it is a full-blown android fail.
Please go to google code's Android page and star the issue, thereby making your voice heard that this is a required feature.

There is no excuse for intentionally leaving out such a basic functionality found in every other smartphone.

[Q] 2.3.3 SIP Support

Hi All,
I found no hint about SIP support in Gingerbread on SGS (I'm running 2.3.3). Are you also lacking the SIP feature? I read on Android website that SIP may be enabled/disabled according to provider choice (and it seems Samsung went on the safe side, and disabled it).
Do you think any custom kernel/csc/other-stuff might be used to enable it?
Thanks for the support!
Which sip/voip account do you have?
There are tons of apps that you can install and use to make your Voip calls within Android
I am testing tons of them: CSipSimple is doing good on JVK.Ginger for instance

I have an iptel.org account, with custom domain name.
I would have loved to see native SIP support, as I expect it would have seamelessly integrated with the address book and the UI. But I'll give thid-party SIP clients a try, hopefully they'll suite my needs.
Is SIP battery draining in your experience?

Well I use Voip/Sip to place my almost free calls wherever I am in the world and in the neighbourhood of a hotspot.
I have 2 accounts with 2 Betamax/Finarea products: Justvoip and VoipDiscount,
With Sipdroid app and CSipSimple app (freem from Market) you get good integration with stock adress book and UI....
Dont know Iptel stuff

Android developers: beam-assist auto focusing

Question for fellow Android developers:
the standard Android API does not offer access to the "beam-assisted auto focusing functionality" of the camera. I am wondering how we can access that part of the function via android SDK or NDK?
I am looking through the source code of the camera, seems lots of .C files in the Kernel section relate to camera operation. Is that the only good starting point?
thanks so much for any input!!!

Question Where can I find api libraries for UWB on samsung s21+ and s21+ ultra?

The only uwb apis i find available are under development in the AOSP main branch. These seem to be available as a system api in android 12 developer preview but I understand this can only be flashed on pixel phones.
I am also unable to find the driver library for it on android source's external libraries, libraries for nfc such as libnfc and libnci are available. Are there libraries for samsung's uwb as well?
I was unable to find any information online. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Thank you very much.
