Hi,
I installed CM9 following the instructions here
wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_(CDMA):_Full_Update_Guide
and here
wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_(CDMA)
and here
wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Devices_Overview
and here
wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Howto:_Using_the_Recovery#Booting_into_the_Recovery
Everything went well, so I installed all my apps, transferred my files and setup all my accounts, customized my settings. After all was done, I locked the screen with a pattern, and it wouldn't turn back on! Finally, I shut it down and turned it back on, now it's stuck at the CM9 boot animation.
As you may guess, after spending hours and hours of setting everything and apparently loosing it all, I am very frustrated
So, my questions:
1- Is it possible to recover it from this boot animation and rescue my hours of work?
2- Is this a known bug, and I should not have setup a screen pattern lock screen?
3- Is SCH-I800 an officially supported device, or not? Since it was in the list of devices in the devices overview link above, I thought so, but I cannot find a forum here for it.
Update:
I went into the Boot recovery, and reset the cache. After that, it passed the CM9 animation, and said "Upgrading (or updating) the OS, then said "Optimizing applications" and went through a count, but then says "Loading Startup Files (or something simlar)", and gets stuck there.
Any suggestions to recover it?
Thanks.

Hello guys, I have a big problem with my GT-I9001,
I have installed the clockworkmod and cyanogenmod by ivendor, (Alpha 7) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000828
If I try to start my Galaxy it stuck's on the Splashscreen where I can see the Galaxy S Plus and the Cyanogenmod logo. After a few Minutes the screen goes of but you have to take the batterie out of the Handy to start it again.
If I try to boot into recoverymode, after the samsung logo the screen goes off, and again I have to take the batterie out.
At both Situations, if i touch the menu or return button it lights up, but not off anymore. At Situation 2 after a few Minutes.
The Download mode still works but if I try to Flash, for example with a Stock Firmware, it seems to go through with no problem, but instead of rebooting it only gets a blackscreen.
When i have flashed it and I start it the Splashscreen still has the Cyanogenmod logo on it, also if i flashed it with a Stockfirmware.
Another thing is, that if i try to charge my Smartphone, the normal shown batterie is stuck too.
Some people already mentioned the BroodRom, but on the download mode appears the Sentence: MMC boot: MBR read failed, and at Booting normaly is no change.
I tried to connect with adb to the Handy while it is on that black screen. It works, but if i try to enter: recovery --wipe_data, but in the cmd it only says: "/sbin/postrecoveryboot.sh not found" and nothing changed.
So this is the List of things that don't work or i already tried. I hope you guys will find a solution. If not i want to ask what Smartphone you would buy.
Problem found
I searched the whole net and i think i found the problem, It seems to be the memory controller.
I came to this because if i pushed something onto my Handy via adb it was there only till a restart. And some communities tell me, that the problem can be solved by exchanging the memory controller. But i don't think i can do that.
Hi - need some advice on my Galaxy Ace S5830T.
For some history, I rooted it a year ago and installed clockwork mod recovery. Apart from loading a few apps that need root privelage I haven't done much to it, ie has standard rom etc.
The other day a couple of applications came up with the 'Force Close' Screen (internet, facebook). Normally I just click on OK and everything is fine, but whenever I ran either app I got a force close error straight away. Used my app killer to shut down everything running, still had same problem.
Switched phone off and went to reboot, now it displays initial "samsung" screen with web address, flashes the Telstra logo in a few colours, displays "samsung" in the glowing letters, then hangs for a while. Goes back to Telstra logo and repeats.
I can boot into recovery mode. I tried restoring the boot partition from a backup I made before rooting, but it made no difference.
I've tried wip;e data/factory reset, wiping cache, and restoring the image, but it's still stuck in the boot loop.
The fact that I can boot into recovery means, I assume, that the hardware is still all functional, so can anyone advise what to try from here?
Thanks.
Woke up to my phone at a fully white screen. I shut it off, but every time i turend it on it would simply freeze at boot animation.
Figured it was time for a new rom anyway so flashed paranoid android and it worked. Rebooted and it froze during boot animation.
Tried Android Revolution, Cyanogen Mod... all jsut start booting then freeze during the animation (all different animations). Sometimes they'll freeze for a while, then the animation runs for a second, then freezes again. Never ending. Wiped the whole device, clean install. Not sure what could possibly be going on.
I still have access to recovery (twrp 2.7.1.1/adb/fastboot).
It's awesome timing as i just got a moto360 yesterday... anod now can't use it as my phone is dead!

you say you wiped did you ever format data ?
have you tried re-flashing the firmware
have you tried flashing stock recovery / factory reset from stock recovery ?
My out of the box Nexus 6 is now stuck looping on and off at the Google boot screen after it tried to install the system update.
I've used the toolkit 1.9.8 to go back to stock. It goes thru the steps appearing to show OKAY and finished at each step. It never reboots the phone at the end. I try to force reboot after waiting for several minutes and it still boot loops. I try again the process again and sometimes it loops and a few times it actually starts up to the welcome screen. However, if I try to root or update recovery (using the toolkit), I get the boot looping again.
Did google bork my phone during a failed update? Is there anything else I can do to completely restore the phone? I've also downloaded the images on google and flashed---same boot loop.
Ultimately, my phone is now booting up to the welcome screen as expected and shows LRX21O. BUT, if I try to do anything (root or recovery), boot loop results again.
(I was able to unlock the phone and know about the usb debug and OEM unlock settings in dev menu, fyi).
I have a Note (GT-N7000) which has decided to no longer boot up completely. It is unrooted stock ROM. It manages to get bast the initial boot screen, but gets stuck on the SAMSUNG splash screen.
I can:
Boot into Recovery
Boot into Download Mode
Use ADB
see it in device manager as aMTP Device (although I can't see the actual device contents)
I have data (appdata, and files/documents)on it I need to get off, is there any hope?
It's my wifes phone, so some of you probably know how important this is!
Any help appreciated.

From what I've read, I guessed I'm screwed, but was hoping there was something I missed. Look slike the phone will be relegated to a drawer in the hope that one day I can get data back. Look out Note 3! (or 4 if the budget can stretch)
Solved!
So, I ended up installing PhilZ-cwm6 - Safe Stock Based Kernel (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901191) and could then boot into a custom recovery, mount USB and copy all the data off.
All good. Now to factory reset and see if phone comes back to us. Already got a new Note 4 to replace the old girl, so not a issue anymore.
