as we know, cases for the streak are few and far between right now. the only really decent ones are these: easecase so, i have contacted this seller with a case idea in mind and given the seller the link to this thread. so heres what would help this case idea be made. even if you are a casual troller or a regular poster, please comment in this thread so that the seller can see there is a demand for this type of case that way we get a awesome case and the seller gets a client base without much effort at all. here is the case idea.

im a member of various dell streak forums/sites and your items keep cropping however, there is a distinct lack of cases for the streak and i would like to ask if there is a way you could make a leather holster type case as the ones you offer make the big streak seem even bigger. the type of case i have in mind is something like this:

this would be perfect for the dell streak as it would allow easy access to the device without having it seem like a brick on your waist. from a buisness prospective because of the lack of cases for the streak you could get in before the rush with a case form factor that would be very popular.

i got the same response. that case would be nice. they are basically saying to chose the type of flap/no flap you want. that is a rather nice case the A5 one. i might inquire abit more

agreed. i highly doubt though we will really see a case like that for the streak any time soon..bring on a US release so us brits can get some good stuff
AWESOME! I really like the A5 case, just without the FLAP!

Gotta be honest .....not blowing my skirt up...i got one ( wallet stylee ) for 8 quid delivered off of ebay, its really good, also fits really well with the form fit case on there as well, perfectly in-fact....
I saw the ad for the d3 easecase on ebay but was hesistant because it looked like hard to pull the streak from the pouch. I am currently using krusell for my htc hd and it has got like a hole at the bottom where you can use finger to push it out of the case rather than having to pinch it out of it, esp if the flap is in the way....so easecase, would you do somethin like that?

Is this posting new or old? I know previously Otterbox said they will not make a case for the Nexus S, so I am wondering if they changed their mind or if this Amazon posting is from when they were planning on making a case. (Note how there is none in stock right now.)

No it is not, I live in Colorado and called otterbox yesterday because they are only 50 miles from me and they told me that they do not have anything in the works for the Nexus S, which means I guess that there is no chance right now!!!! Oh well maybe if they get enough inquireies they might but I doubt it!!!
the thing is that Otterbox was going to make the case but then they decided not to make it.
Actually I believe they did release it, but it had problems fitting because of the curved screen. Then they took it off their web site. I remember when it came into stock but at that point I was tired of waiting.

They'll both be here Monday, which is when my Nexus 7 (16 GB) will be delivered too. I have and have had products from both Moko and ArmorShield, and both are excellent quality.
I think I'm going to buy that case. For $6.99, it will hold me over until a better one comes around. I don't like it for permanent use.
I do want a screen protector too, but I only want the non-spray self-sticking (static cling?) ones. I bought one of those for my wife's iPad and it worked great. I bought a spray-and-stick one for my SGT8.9, and it sucked (Zag).

Well, MoKo makes good stuff, it should last a while, I think they are just doing the deep discount to get in on the Nexus 7 frenzy. I agree on the Zagg's, I don't like them either, but ArmorShield, Skinomi and BodyGuardz are all good ones, they all make dry apply and wet apply. I usually go for dry apply on phones, like my Galaxy Note i717, but on bigger things like tablets the wet apply ones are easier to install and work with, at least for me. The ArmorShield's are really thin, don't yellow and are not sticky like the Zagg's, which is one reason why I dislike Zaggs too.
Just ordered that case as well. Can't beat that price with prime shipping.

I ordered the case a few days ago and already got it. It's actually quite nice and more indicative of its real price and not the $7 I paid for it.
I ordered a moko one that has the magnetic sleep/wake function. Sort of a gamble because there is only one pic, but it looks like it can function as a stand as well.

Yeah, I've been really impressed with MoKo cases, they are well built and don't cost an arm and a leg.

I received my armorshield screen protector yesterday and just installed it this morning. Had no issues, used the wet solution that came with it. I agree it is not as sticky as the zagg ones. The armorsuit skin has already dried and looks great.

Right on! I have been pretty impressed with their stuff, Skinomi's are a little sticky, and Zagg's are ultra sticky of course. With the ArmorShields, the little imperfections will settle out over the next couple of days, and if for some reason it goes crazy, they will just send you another set out.

I know, I'm shocked too. Question: you just ordered the one case in your OP, right?
I ask because I ordered TWO cases from this seller. The one you did, plus the $12.99 smart case they came out with on Sunday. I wanted to make sure that this email was about the first case, not the second one (or both).
I am really shocked that they would have gone so far to help their customers for something that cost $6.99 shipped. I was actually going to return that case, since I got the better one, but I think I'm going to keep it just out of support of the seller.

Yeah, just that one. I am really impressed too, it shouldn't be shocking to get that kind of customer service, but the world being like it is today it's surprising to get that level of service, I am definitely going to be doing more business with them in the future!

I've searched far and wide, but have not seen anything similar yet. It reminds me alot of the incase case I have for my iPad.
Can't wait for something like this to come out, but I have a feeling it will be a while.

I also made another thread to tell people about an email I received from Marware as well. Here's what I got:

We've been told that Nexus 7 cases are being prepared and should be shipping in 6-10 weeks. We do not know which styles or types of cases are being made at this time, but yes, there will be a few offerings soon.

The case isn't an official Nexus 7 case, and I don't know how well it would fit the Nexus 7, as it was nicely snug on the Kindle Fire. I'm just hoping they release a similar one for the Nexus 7.:fingers-crossed:

I've had one of those on my TouchPad for about a year now, it offers great protection but adds a lot of weight and bulk since it's virtually two cases in one.

I emailed Incipio last week to see if they intended making covers for the N7 like they do for the Ipad and they emailed me back last night to say they are releasing a range of products but no details are available yet, but to keep an eye on their website and there should be info there soon. Would really like a Incipio feather case for my 7 along with a smart cover..
Hopefully in the next few weeks we'll have more info

Hope they make the legend case! Its the best case I've seen so far
These cases are amazing. I've Put some cash aside for when these are released. Even the international shipping seems reasonable. I'm surprised there isn't more mention of these on the forum rather than all the cheap plether bulky rubbish everyone seems to like! No accounting for taste!

Exactly. Google is selling tons of these things and it's been over a month now. I want to give my money to anyone that comes out with a "tank" case but no one is stepping up to the plate.

Maybe it's because lots of friggin people want to friggin buy them?
...or maybe it's because one size fits all and so it's easier to get one to market early.
No company can set up, tool up and manufacture quality products at the drop of a hat never mind them wanting to make sure there's going to be a sustainable market for it.
I realise that moaning is one of the US national pastimes but these forums are international and believe me it gets very old very quickly having to trawl past all these whinging posts to try and find the good stuff.

Oh please. I'm not one of the complainers on this board and my post was not whining. These tablets have been selling like hot cakes and it's been out for long enough where someone should be making a hard case by now.

i agree with this. i also believe google announced the tablet and released it 2-3 weeks later and didn't work with anyone on accessories. perhaps it was to generate sales of their case, but the consumer got screwed. i'm not a fan of the asus case. from day one i wanted a leather case and over a month later, i'm still limited in my choices becasue companies are still working on their cases. i emailed marware last week and they still said 4-6 weeks.

Incipio makes decent cases, but they're always way overpriced. I got the N7 because of its value, and this is going to carry over with my accessories for it. If I wanted to overspend, I would have gotten an iPad.
