I meant by the advance settings. I search many forum but those are for thier device. Im not sure whether it is the same for galaxy mini
Im talking for galaxy mini itself.

it depends on the usage
if u want smooth performance try lag free governor
if u are in the need of battery then use powersave governor
i preferrably use smartassv2
Smooth : Lagfree, Performance (perfromance are best for smoothness)
Battery : Powersave, SMARTASS, Ondemand (powersave lock down to lowest CPU, so battery will more efficient)
Stable : SMARTASSV2
For performance
Min 806
Max 806
Governor Performance
I/o scheduler deadline

If your rom has LilgV2 governor, use it. was the most stable for me, and lag-free

Auto detect? It does pretty good on its own. Then you can raise the max cpu speed until you find the best speed/batterylife combo

It's pretty simple really. When you are using your phone as a phone it doesn't require a lot of your processor or ram. However when you are using apps, especially apps that have a lot of graphics to them then you are using substantially more of your ram and processing power. And the more the processor and ram are working the more electricity is flowing through them and the hotter it gets.
Think you I been trying to use ram manger and here what I have it runns smooth am on aokp m6 my ns tools set to this governor conservative, min CPU freq 100mhz,Max CPU freq 1000mhz, oc value 100%, oc target low 100 MHz, oc target high 1500 MHz....

Can some one tell me some good settings to put it on plz my CPU and stuff

If you're on the stock kernel, there aren't very many settings to set. Even with a custom kernel, each phone behaves differently and the only way to find out is by experimenting.

I have a question:
What is the best setting to increase the battery life without decreasing the performance?
I am using Androidscream V1.

Hi
I just wanna know more about the cpu governors. For example: what are they for, and what's the difference between the types of them?
Sent from my GT-S5830i using xda premium
Govenors are settings for the cpu. Some govenors like performance are running still on maximal cpu. And some govenors like powersave are just running on the lowest cpu. You should look what the best setting for you is. The shedulter is important too. (sorry for my bad english )

Okay, i found something about it. Another question: which scheduler do you suggest? Is there any app what can control cpu governors and i/o scheduler at the same time?
P.s. me too: sorry for my english

I recommend you bfq or sio. You can use no frills cpu control

My cpu freq is always 1000mhz max 1000mhz min. I used setcpu and no frills cpu control but they wont work. The only thing that can work is the i/o scheduler. And what is the best setting? And is there any app that can turn off your networks and turn on after 15-30 min for sync?
