I am in the process of delivering a rom that should be very simple.
Little Apps, Little clutter.
Custom Boot Animation
Based on the 2.1 Open Europe rom.
Rooted with Superuser installed
plain white status bar (until i do a bit more learning)
stock launcher
Better Keyboard
Browser
Calendar
Camera
Clock
Contacts
Email
FM Radio
Gallery
Home Selector
Market (doesn't work)
SlideMe instead of market
Media Player
Messaging
Phone
Root Explorer
SIM Toolkit
Task Manager
Voice Recorder
Settings.
Install from recovery only.
1. Copy "flyboyovyick" folder to your sdcard>clockworkmod>backup
2. Boot your phone into Recovery (Home+Power)
3. Backup & Restore
4. Select the "flyboyovyick" folder
5. After the reboot it should work.

yes but there will be no programs in this one apart from android system apps and file browser and possibly root

Then what is the purpose of making it?
Will it have style improvements? Or any improvements at all comparing to the official ones?

The purpose of making it is to create a clean rom for people that might not want everything customised. eg. having a blank cardboard box. You can do anything with it.
A simple rom for simple people.
The improvements will be that it might be a bit faster and a bit more space.
i will in the future be creating a rom that is customized
Make it root, take away everything except the essentials, use launcherpro as the default launcher and your done!

Possible make 3 versions.

Android Launcher
And yes just the essentials and root.

And just a little note to everyone moaning about this already. if you don't like what he is doing then you know what to do. don't download it then you won't have lost anything will you. he is doing this in his own time with no funding so maybe not should grateful. why don't you create your own Rom and then we can moan about it!!!!

When you got a bit of time mate could do with some help on the kernal update from modaco. can't seem to update it from recovery.

Although you are correct in some way, that wasn't a very smart question. Not everyone likes one same launcher right? But does that mean every dev and android phone manufacturer should put about ten different launchers in their ROMS to suit everyone's needs? Ah, ok!

Edit: Tried this app on Note, Installation done, Not in full screen mode. but here in India this app is not available yet.
It looks like that is an older version. What I want to try is to install the specific tablet APK. I would need someone with an tablet to download the tablet app and extract the APK and post. Thanks though.

If it is tablet specific, i.e. honeycomb, forget it!
Once we get ICS, it may work, but until then you are SOL.

Certain features are available, like the Smart Select (GIF capture) by installing the latest SmartSelect (Note7 version) apk from apkmirror.

Sorry, I haven't tried any other feature apart from that. The GIF capture was the only feature I was interested in.
Translate does not work as of yet but others might. You can backup the current apk and then install new versions of them to update the features.

Thank you! I already install the new apk for gif capture but I dont really gonna use that. So anyway to rollback the note 5 version because I didnt know that I have to backup and now I cant even Uninstall it

The single APK opens the app to an all white page at the moment and it won't let me update it since it's not yet officially supported. I heard that the 9 apks will get it to work, but im too lazy to download so many apks for just one app to work.

You can access them via QuickShortcutMaker (download from the Play Store)
Love the new recent! But I get a blank white screen when opening good lock as reported bh some users. I'm on a N950U.
How can i get the recent app changer to work i install it and nothing changes...also tried to install all other apps but i just want the task changer to work

I didn't do anything for mine it just worked of course I installed all the aoks. Still good lock just shows a blank screen.

I would definitely install all the apks. It worked for me. I anyone else getting the blank screen for good lock?

What about the good lock app itself?
Yoo this is pretty cool, but I use gestures for my navigation, and having this my recent a won't let me go home is there any way to change this?

Guys it worked for me !!
Guys all you have to do is ...
1. download all apks and install them
2. Downlaod and install Nova luancher
3 . In the home screen make a new widget and choose "Activity" then choose the apks that you downloaded
4. Now you have them as seperate apps :fingers-crossed:

I have it installed on my OP5. The good news is that it runs pretty well and most of the Chinese apps can be uninstalled. Also, Play Store can be installed through the app "Market", included on H2OS.
The bad news is that it seems to be a build made for OP5T, because I am able to navigate using gestures (it does not make a lot of sense on the 5 because of the hardware buttons) and because the fingerprint scanner / home button is not working (I tried rebooting, did a full wipe and yes, I downloaded the right build from the link above: https://share.weiyun.com/54c5041)
Better wait for official OpenBeta OxygenOS

Sorry, internet @ home is too slow. But people reported you can use a Download Manager and it downloads way faster, give it a try.
I also think that better to wait till beta...let see when one plus does it for OP5. It has been already one month since last beta...

1/ For a non chinese, it's hard to download on Baidu (and especially +2.0 Go files, users must be registered)
2/ Could you purpose the script for flash 5T to 5 (or it's by default?)
3/ Could you purpose a link on Drive or Mega, simple hostfiles
