Disclaimer:
This should work on all devices but use at your own risk. We are not responsible for anything you do to your device. We have provided this mod for entertainment purposes and have not tested it on every device. Due to this, flashing this is at your own risk, and by going further into this post, you agree that whatever happens to your device is on you. We are not responsible if you do not read this post completely and break your phone. We are not responsible if you do read, and your phone breaks anyway. Flash at your own risk! If your significant other leaves you because you become more addicted to your phone, it's all on you. If you wake up one day and notice that you've been turned into a black and white speckled jellybean, then maybe you can blame us.
Why should you use this?
The benefit to using inverted applications is a guaranteed improvement of battery life over noninverted applications on LED displays. Not only that, but they are much easier on your eyes. Have a look at this thread for more details.
We present to you....JusTunBean Inverted Gapps +!!!!!!
Directions For Aroma:
Aroma is a custom installer that will allow you, the user, to choose which inverted applications you would like to install. Select one, select two, select all inverts; the choice is yours! You can also install the latest Apex or Nova launchers, themes, boot animations. This is a completely touch-enabled process where you touch the screen to choose which apps you would like to install.
I recommend a full wipe if it's your first time using JusTunBean Aroma or if you're having any sort of problems with this mod after flashing it.
Reboot into recovery. CWM/TWRP/4EXT
Install the Jellybean (4.1+) ROM of your choice. Only CM/AOKP ROMS are fully supported.
Open up the JusTunBean Aroma zip as though you were flashing a ROM.
Wipe Cache within the JusTunBean Aroma application. If you are using a new kernel select option three: "wipe cache and kernel".
Install whichever apps you want through Aroma intstaller.
Finish running the installer, then choose to reboot or go back to recovery.
Installer will wait 20 seconds before rebooting. This is to ensure that everything is fully installed.
Enjoy!! Please use the thank you button to show your support!!

Well the question is, was this "auto rotate battery drain bug" you speek of there BEFORE HAKA got his hands on the ROM and and started messing with it or did it start after?
I am unaware of the issue and i will ask the ROM DEV if he knows anything about this...

its in every ics rom, even in the stock rom. the strange thing is that some people don't have that bug, but most of the users do, including me.
well, even with the bug, my phone lasts 1-2 days without problems so its okay for me, i guess.

Exactly!
Really annoying, cause it is the only issue that prevents me from running ICS.
When using ICS I can watch the battery drain.
Im out of house most of my time and I have to work with the phone.
For me it is not a everyday use OS.
Android OS is using more percentage than display...

This is a complation of others work to make a working rom for the vibrant.
I've used the MIUIANDROID I9000 & CM9 as a base ported it to the VIBRANT.
I hope you like it? It's by no means perfect, but it's a work in progress.
And thanks to Tory Heal for the graphics
And new bootanimation by imilleson.
Installation Instructions :
Reboot into Recovery
Do a Nandroid Backup or your choice backup application (optional)
-Wipe data/factory reset
-Wipe cache partition/dalvik cashed
-Go into Mounts & Storage and Format /system (does not erase any sd data))
-Install the ROM
-reboot(first boot takes a bit)
-let sit 5 to 10 min
-reboot
-set up as you like
-reboot and use normal
The ROM comes with the Subzero 159cm color Kernel, but feel free to flash a different ICS one if you want.
But be aware I have used the latest cm9 nightly as a base so if you get "unknown baseband" you will need the ril revert.
GingerBread bootloaders recommend find ---> here
please READ the op for instructions it is not hard but is VITAL you do it per instructions.
Also base update to CM9's nightly 7/30
Issues that I know of..
-GPS needs work and may not work at all, (it works for me but it can be slow) ( feedback is fine but complaining will be ignored )
-Themes only work partly and will only be fixed by MIUI not me
themes now work better but need to use ones for miui ics not GB
Other stuff to watch out for...
Titanium Backup users should tick the Preferences > Troubleshooting settings > Follow all symbolic links option

Alright. Made a new flashable zip based off xlory's zip in the Galaxy S forum and substituted some apps with some of the ones made by travp624 over at rootzwiki.
The inverted contacts is working in Inverted JB as are all the other apps contained in the zip.
I can not be held responsible if your phone spontaneously combusts, an evil entity takes over the world or your favorite episode of Desperate Housewives never makes it back on the air!
As with all other mods, be sure to make a nandroid prior to flashing!

The two links below I took from the BAKEDBean ROM thread. They are completely Team BAKED's work and providing the link for those that may be having difficulties in ROM's with CM's theme engine (AOKP, ParanoidAndroid, etc). Thanks to the1dynasty for the link to these.
Team BAKED's inverted gapps that worked in their ROM with theme engine:
Inverted Mirror 1
Inverted Mirror 2
The inverted gapps on Team BAKED's site don't include gmail and youtube. You can pull them from my zip but the most updated ones are located here.
Screenshots!
Credit goes to Travp624 and Team Baked on Rootzwiki for the inverted apps, iaio72 for the JB Inverted ROM where I picked the Phone.apk out of (like it better than the previous one) and to xlory for making the zip I based this off of.
Please read below:
All apps are working in JB inverted and possibly on stock deodexed ROM. Other ROMS (I need clarification from the people flashing my zip) are unable to use Contacts as it breaks Phone. Email is hit or miss. Please post which ROM you're using when reporting all apps working or not working. Also, hopefully you're flashing to the NS or NS4G as that's where this is posted. Other devices, you're on your own to experiment and see what works.
Added new links and my zip of inverted gapps. Enjoy!

Did you read the OP?
Would there be a problem with swapping out the inverted messaging app in my gapps with this one? That's the only thing I want to change.

try deleting the phone.apk in the zip or if you already flashed it try deleting the phone.apk in system app and replace it with the one that comes in your rom's zip and change the permissions to rw-r-r

For one, I'm a guy. The chick in my avatar is some random hot red head from the chive. Second, I'm not a themer. I have seen that keyboard or something like it on djdarkknight's site.

About this ROM:
This is a custom Samsung ICS ROM based on WanamLite XXBLG8 and JKay Deluxe framework XXBLG8-alpha6, and now JB ROM based on WanamLite XXDLIB/Jkay XXDLIB alpha 5. I replaced Sammy apps with Google’s wherever I possibly could like email, exchange, calendar,*MMS, calculator and *browser. Also removed was touchwiz and Samsung keyboard in exchange for Holo HD launcher and Googles AOSP keyboard (JB version you must download from Market). Also removed was All Share Play, Samsung Account, FBsns, and a bunch of other pointless services. The stuff I consider potentially useful remained like S-beam and motion. This rom was fairly debloated by Wanam I just removed a few more apks most people would never use. They can all be put back in.
I put this ROM together for my personal use. It’s very AOSPish in appearance and feel, super stable and fast. The AOSP keyboard used (swiped from CM9) along with haptics from the original keyboard kinda gives the ROM its own feel. I am aware ICS is old news these days, but I opt to roll with this ROM while the rough edges of CM10 are worked out - I flip ROMS daily and sometimes bi-daily. I just appreciate the stability of XXBLG8, and there’s just a lot less setup to do with this ROM. Also, the stock camera gizmos are hard to compete with so this keeps that intact.
My favorite part of this rom is the "Chime" notification that's included. It might make you smile
Items above with * next to them cannot be implemented on XXDLIB JB ROM at this time.

•15 toggle mod
•Skip tracks with volume
•Stock kernel
•All AOSP Ringtones/Sounds
•Replaced as many “Sapps” for Gapps as possible
•Um…can’t remember

Your Rom sounds great.
Do you plan to built a jelly bean version as well? That would be awesome. I was waiting exactly for a Rom like this.
Thank you!

For some reason, this ICS version was very accomodating to aosp/gapps. Also, wanam/JKay got most of the cool stuff working (lockscreen/crt off). On the JB Leaks they are not quite finished these mods. And the aosp keyboard does weird things in the jb leaks as does Mms.
Let me know how this works out for you.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
why not stock default kernel?. In my opinion, the kernel has very good battery life and very good sound also.
Thanks for your work, I will test it for sure!!!
Have you got the gapps in a seperate cwm zip or a link to where i could find them.
Been after some that work well with ics for a while now.

The google apps installed are in the rom (system/app) and listed in the first paragraph of the OP. I'll more accurately describe what was deleted/added in the OP tomorrow.

It looks like the OP has replaced the sammy calender with aosp - it wont sync if thats the case...you will need to replace Calendar.apk with SecCalendar.apk
The clock widget is called "One More Clock" from the Market. Its one of the built in themes.
Good catch about the calendar. I did replace calendar and provider, but it doesn't sync. Do you want me to up the Samsung ones?

Thanks for letting me know!
Updated OP again. AOSP calendar works fine once secCalendarprovider is replaced as per OP. I also posted the cm type apk if you want to try that instead but not tested.
Been after a stock aosp stayed ROM for ages
After testing lost 10% bat in 2 hours on standby
And will not charge of in car charger.
apart from that I loved it but had to restore old ROM

Can't really complain it's good. I just have some things I really Wish would work is that hot word detection and also it says the captivate model instead of vibrant lol
thanks for your input. i have no clue about the hot word detection, i've never used it before sorry.i'll ask the dev i ported it from about it. as for it being shown as captivate. use your prefferd file explorer and change these line's in build.prop from "i897" to "T959" and "captivate" to "vibrant" save file when done editing and reboot. it should now show the proper info.
would any body be interested in a full version with nothing removed, have the rom exactly like the captivate? if so i'll upload one later on tonight when i have more spare time.

Thanks for the help. I would love to see this ROM with all the features. This ROM is really great I wonder why this thread is so quiet..
full version is now up(same link) but due to its size initial boot will take 3-7 minutes and will look like a bootloop when its really not. it takes a while for every thing to load up as well as settle in, so once booted adjust your settings sign in to google then reboot. let the phone settle for few more minutes then start going about your usual setting up/installing routine. rom is signed this time and uses fluid kernel v1. enjoy folks!

Very fast and stable ROM. Only problem I have so far is with Google Calendar synchronization.
Edit: cleared app's cash. Now is OK.
