Great app, great interface, but . . . after installing the app I used it to listen to a couple of tunes then exited the app. Since then I noticed my battery useage has gone crazy, in the space of a couple of hours my phone went from 79% to 42% and I never even used the phone during that time. My battery normally lasts between a day and a couple of days at a time between charges.
Thinking it may be something to do with the music junk app I went back to the market to see if anyone else having similar problem and got a page saying link invalid. Tried to find the publishers website and that seems to be gone as well ! Anyone else experienced high battery consumption with this app ?

Hmm..never had that here, but I've posted a link to my copy if you like to uninstall and re-install

I haven't gotten a chance to see how much of an affect this app has on battery life as I've just installed it, but I have noticed that it constantly runs on my phone. It starts on boot and will reopen itself if I kill the app with task killer even though I haven't even used the app. Anyone have any idea why this app needs to constantly run in the background?

Installed the app but it shows network error whenever I search or select a song from catalog.
Edit: it works now! I don't know what happened yesterday.

Depends if you actually use the game pad or not. If you do and don't want to have to get a bluetooth gamepad there's not really anything to replace it. If you don't go ahead.

The game pad is the reason why I got the phone in the first place and I love the way it looks but my friend say that it's not got much proseing power as the Samsung galaxy s 3 is that true or are they just trying to get me to upgrade

The S3 does have more processing power, do you need it though? If your happy with the XP then keep it, if not trade up.

Why do you care? If you're happy with it then keep it. Don't just buy things because they tell you to.

I don't no just bugs me when they say it's old and paste it. But yeah I love the phone just fed up of the 2 of them ganing up on me

If you use it for pocket gaming and like the phone it doesn't matter what your buddies think. Do most games work with the controls?

Yes lot's of games work like gta and asphalt 7. And stuff like ps1 classics

I was about to buy a Xperia Play the other day but the seller there told me that it's not good since there are better fast android phone out there. So I just reserved a Samsung S3 instead.

Yes it is dated. They've dropped support for it, there are no games specifically developed for Play anymore, and it barely runs new games. I had one couple months ago, and it's extremely slow!

Can't wait ! These replacement refs are really starting to irk me though.
Anyways, this is a great update, could always find my Rays, but could never find my Bucs. This will also be a great way to keep track on things like fantasy football.

I don't see a problem with it. There's not another thread that does what this does, and it could be informative. There could be an app that you tried 2 years ago and it was hideous so you've never tried it since. Someone comes along and posts a screenshot of it here and it's now one of the most beautiful looking apps ever!
Anyway, I'm not posting my favourite app because I don't want you trolls to see the "XDA Thread Closing" app that I made

Fleksy is here!

Its here! Flesky Messaging app for Gear. Available under Utilities in the Gear Manager. Typed a few messages on it and it actually works pretty well for the small screen. Also shows a conversation view, unlike the stock messenger. Really great app for our Gears.

I cant get it to work. When I open Fleksy Messenger in the Gear2 it only shows me the word "contacts"

Every once in a while it will just hang while loading contacts. That will probably be fixed in a future update. Hopefully. I usually just close the app in the task manager and reopen and its fine. It should open up all your contacts.

Yeah. Autocorrect isn't the best. But they are building apps for our watch. I'm plenty happy just having it. I plan on asking them about not including a simple period though.

I'm from spain and I'm not able to find the app in samsung downloads, i have 2.11.14062401 in gear manager, it's any way to get it?

installation error
in my case I still make out error installation everything goes the dimensioned forum but still nothing to do and not really to install ....

Can you set fleksy as the default messenger. I'm new to this thing and can't figure it out
