JellyCore v2 - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys.
About to download and flash JellyCore v2 as my weekend ROM.
I wanted to know that is it smooth?? Im coming from stock deodexed XXLRQ which had all the needs for me.
But i wanted to change.
Is JellyCore replaceable to TW? What are the main differences please?
(im a serious flasher and take my roms seroously and keep them for some time)
Thano you for your help!

its better cause there is not touchwiz rom jb as of yet for our phone, but doesnt have the spen support nor s-apps functional.
So it depends, you like all the s stuff, stick with tw roms, you dont use them use jellycore. Only s-app like functional to my knowledge are some note taking apps.

I know that on CM based ROMS memo sketchbook + other memo clones run just fine, the ROM has s-pen support, just not Samsung developed app support.

yeah the pen works, just not the buttons / gestures unleass an app has it.
Jellycore is modded cm10 btw

It would be helpful if you could mention one really awesome rom! As it wouldn't be worth doing a trial and error method for all the possible ROMs!
Criskelo in my personal experience. Beside that rom i always have issues with ithers.

Try Crash rom v10.1 .. criskelo hasn't been updated for ages as the developer won't develop for the note anymore..

If you prefer spen features like me. Classic rom v6 will be your choice. Since the rom dev emphasis on stable and battery performance.
Believe me you will impress with this rom.
Classic rom+speedmod kernel.= the best of the best.

I have tried most Note roms out there, CM, Kang, PA, TW, JB, etc.
I always return to Rocket ROM.
Fast, stable, optimised ICS with all the standard S apps including S-Voice and S-Note from the Galaxy S3.

[Q] Stock Smemo for jb

Hello, I upgraded my Note from Stock ICS to JB SlimBean and I miss Smemo app, I like to take handwrite notes, paint some pics. I searched for it but no luck Is there is app like this or we are doomed on JB without it ?
Smemo is only for samsung JB... There are some note taking apps in the themes and apps section. Like super note

Galaxy S4 launcher & weather widget

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share the Galaxy S4 launcher ported by Linq'z QIrls'z Chinese who has successfully ported it to cm 10/10.1 roms. This is by no way my work and I have not made any changes. You can grab the files from the below link and also please thank him in his post.
There are some extra goodies also ported by him but I have not tried anyone of them so not sure if it works or not.
I am using the launcher for almost 10 days and its very smooth, so just wanted to post it for everyone.
Currently using it with Tonyp 10.1, not tested on cm 10.
(I shall post the Screenshot later, I have tried the 4*4 & 5*4, both worked, the transparent weather widget was not working for me)

Has anyone tried it on stock rom?

Me too is stock rom fan..It can be good if you can fully De-bloat the firmware, remove all lg apps, patched to latest tegra 3 drivers, intergrate with custom launcher....
