bricked phone

Hi Guys,
i have just tried to smartflash my P990 phone and by mistake i selected the bin file first and the fls second. Now the phone is totally dead. I cannot do anything just blank screen. Is their a chance to get it to work again?
Any help much appreciated.

Just do the LG update.should work.or find Homero ROM v20s somewhere in the developer section.should make it.

Well you probably need to translate in browser but it worked for me every single time were other methods fail. it set the phone to stock rom then u just need to root again and done even with the brick so long u can access flash mode ur fine,

Yes smartflash tool....... nvflash seems to comolicated and doesnt work all the time.

testbuild 30A is deleted today from lg test servers

Means official version will be uploaded soon....hope they upload for p990 also...

The links provides V30J for P970 or KU550 (whatever the korean one) ?

i have tried flashing v30j but it fails...
so i think it is not for P970...

Awesome, let me know what you think! This *is* a very very alpha build so there may be bugs, but it's been pretty exhaustively tested on the Nexus S 4G.

Its great to have development for nexus s.
In tools Reboot & Wipe prompt is not working .
Still testing for more.

No, it isn't. Are you sure you're using the options like they're intended? They only apply to flashing ZIPs through OpenRecoveryScript, aka GooManager.
Also, they definitely do work, as seen in the video (which by the way I used the EXACT same build I posted).

What ZIP failed to flash? As shown in the video, ZIP flashing does work.

Why don't you try by flashing any zip via this recovery on nexus s. When I try to install then nothing happens after selecting zip file

I can't reproduce this. What model of Nexus S and are you sure you flashed the correct recovery?
crespo4g is for Sprint models ONLY.

And as I said I can't change any options (like Zip signature).
I have a crespo (i9023) and flashed crespo recovery (not 4G recovery).
I see you have a 4G, maybe it works well on 4G and there are some bugs on 3G.
We don't criticize your work. We just say that doesn't work on OUR phones.
Maybe you could build a debug version and we could test it a send you logs ?
