My Rom for x8?

Hey guys im from Mini pro Forum a User of your Forum told me to Port my Rom (See signature) to ur devices,i dont Know whether many users are interested in gingerbread so what Do you think?

It looks great, many people are interested in GB (ICS and JB aren't the best for our weak HW), I would like to see it on my X8.
BTW does it have Xperia S lockscreen?

Btw, i have a locked bl so i really don't know much aby custom kernel. But i've been reading posts and alfs and naa's seem to be most popular. Hope you make one for stock though.

This Rom works on locked bootloader for Xperia 2011 so i only need the stock gb System folder for x8 does somebody of you Know where i can get it? A ftf would be great or a flashable zip

I think he needs the /system folder. I don't have it, unfortunately.

if i touch it goes somewhere else

Try to flash stock rom 2.1.1.C.0.0 ,and then flash custom rom again!
It must help! I don't think it's phone problem!
Try,just keep trying!

Its 100% a hardware problem possibly caused by using a non standard charger which damaged the touch screen if u have warranty left go to sony service centre and they will replace the screen i got mine replaced a month ago.

You have synaptics touch? If yes , delete the fake dual touch module. Reflashing rom doesnt help at all.

Every w8 will face touch problem declared by Sony bcoz it has default problem of touch
So give ur fone to sony center for repair

How to get a newer android version on Xperia X8 ?

Hello
Does anyone know how i can get a newer android version? I have 2.1 and when i checked for updates i couldnt find one, but i found out that some have higher versions than 2.1 .

Bro u can an unofficial firmware that is running on cyanogenmod 7 gingerbread...
U need to first root ur phone....to root download this file from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1117100
Install a root browser such as this :https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.root.browserfree
Install Clockwork Mod recovery : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1119456
Install a stock gingerbread firmware such as this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1188486

I like how laconic stamatis16 has been, which is why I'm gong to drop in a thanks. As for the answer to your question, you gotta root it, install XRecovery or CWM, download one of the countless GB ROMs available, thank the dev there and then flash it in recovery. Instructions can be found in Development section.

unlock bootloader and flash one of the kernel, then flash ROM

search the whole x8 fourm you will get it:good:

(here in xda forum) Search->read->learn
e16i - 11w34
android 4.1.2 jb by nAa

Best is MiniCm7 with alfs kernel(using it), minicm10 is fast , all good , except the lag when you get a phone call , minicm9 is a lil laggy than minicm10.

Any one who upload the W8 Stock Rom .ftf file. i want install in my w8. right now i use minicm in my phone.

Yes whenever,I come back to stock I too use it only. After all X8 and W8 are the same phones. X8 is Xperia branded and W8 is Walkman branded.
