[ROM][14/4]-ImPrOS- v1.3 - 3th RELEASE DISCONTINUED

I am sorry to announce that I will stop the development for ImPrOS. This was my very first ROM and I am now working on Wild Ginger, check Forum for alpha release. Thanks all for using and sharing your feedback.

Yeah, it's not that much themed, only status bar and framework (icons on the statusbar). But I worked hard at giving the performance a boost. OC at 768 it gives a nice smooth feeling for me.
Nice to hear you want to try it out! First boot can take up to 8-10 min!

Just installed it.... well i have to say this is quite snappy i really like how fast this is !!!! nice work the screen looks sharper :S dnno if its just my head loool
there is one thing my phone storage is 110mb free shouldnt it be more with Apps2sd

It says clearly in the first post that it's based on stock froyo.

There is NOT going to be a COMPLETE SENSE version of GINGERBREAD for the WILDFIRE until HTC release the GINGERBREAD UPDATE (the source that we need) OFFICIALLY for the WILDFIRE.

Yeah almost it's still not stable so I'm working on that, also I'm a little in a doubt, should I just hard program the function (always on) or should I program like a little setting you can switch on or off JIT?

[Port][ROM] Ihero -(re-continue soon!)-

OK, as i and heacatae talked about the Ihero port we came up to that were trying to port a CDMA verision to GSM, wich will make it harder to get the gsm to work (as the libs, is not located anywhere)
(P.S, Anyone know where CM7 2.3.2 Verision is, as the rom is based ony 2.3.2 we need 2.3.2 lib files)

yes it is based on CM7, wich is heavly moded, as this is from a port, from a port, from a port,
everything wont work as of now, but its at least much thing that does not work
its a port to start with xP

no that is a p500 rom and has color issues! u have to modify carlosrom cuz thats the only that works for it.

Just flashed the ROM and the first thing that came to my mind was .... WOW !!!!
It has a lot of bugs, but I,m confident that SWEATTAIMI will be able to squash them and deliver us a working version.

It took us many time to get AOSP gb and froyo to work (4 months or more ! ) and now somebody is compiling it and giving as as his own - that in not fair ! Pebe , u shouldn't realise the soruce ... I was about to share mine - but if something like that happens, I wouldn't !

i dont think the soft mods are a problem
starting to become a dev is good for the community and maybe it makes some ROMs even better if there are people who can't/ don't want to/ don't have time to mod the ROM like they wanna have it.

Android market is missing. When I try to add an account the phone makes soft restart (from the bootanimation) - Except these two "bugs" i like this rom. Thanks

If this ROM complettely builded from sources, then we have a new one best ever developer for LG Swift, I'm not joke
But if not from sources - then ... this ROM can not be better than we alredy have.
Still do not understand why people trying to make individual port (donations?).
Would be better if all devs make one or two (2.2.x and 2.3.x) powerfull fullfeatured ROMs. All of existing ROM's has the same problem, try to solve it.
In other case you stuck on that problems too and can not move forward and that "new" ROM just stay as one more clone forom some other.
Any way, good luck, hope that you can make something new and usefull for swift users.

DSPManager and CRT Animation added by default in all CM7 builds by CM7 devs but not by you

can i just ask if he made a copy of your ROMs then would the overclocking and screen shot not work then because in both of you rom they do so if this was a clone then they would work. im so confused lol

i think you should use the same animation that "Eye-Candy" uses, personally i think these look very nice in a rom.

For the download link. Go to the top go to the first page as it send you to page 70 something, then click on where it says android sdk. Then it sends you to an external website to download.
This this any different to ice cold? My phone hasn't translated the site so I can only go off images.

Tested, it is fast and smooth. However cannot signed in to Google. Data connection is enabled, but still can't access internet. Weather location is not detected as well.

Im waiting for a pm from ruslik.. i guess he already removed the rom thread from 4pda.ru .. if he says i will remove the post .. i had sent him a pm about helping me in fixing the mobile internet and he sent me that link.. i thought it was released for the russian users so i released it here for all the users with proper credits .. Anyways i thought there are no such problems of differentiation in the incredible s section atleast .. and if its said my rom will be a copy of his rom and stuff the video of my rom was released time back and i even mentioned what was fixed and what wasn't !!

No one has removed ROM from 4pda. Yesterday ruslik was even banned there for a couple of days because of swearing. I don't know why he thougt you'd "stolen" his ROM when there were all the proper credits... But he behaved like some sick or drunk man.
Just don't care and keep going making awesome ROM's

@souljasteve84 i didnt release any roms bro ..The one rom i released is TriNity Sensation Xl based on sense 3.5 & gingerbread .. in terms of performance and stability this one's got good reviews
and second was Dream Edition which was just a preview .. so that people could know how ics + sense 3.5 is thats all .. Whereas " Alpha " term states for something ..
No other roms released

Fair call lol don't get me wrong tho nik I do love ur roms and I can't wait for HTC to release drivers n etc so u can cook up a fully functional ics rom ur trinity rom is amazing dude

Wifi still doesnt work... im on build 2 ... try modifying the kernel
i reboot it then the on and off button became black not movable....
also no sdcard,bluetooth...

I don't know what I need to change. I need logs and I need to try to turn it on manualy. I fixed in cm10 easily becouse I could start it from console. And I could see why supplicant was not working. When I don't have device it is very hard to determine the problem.
Second as I remember in cm10.1 you need wpa_supplicant driver support libs. I think you can find them on CAF.
But I think this cm10.1 won't be stable on golfu coz main problem is that is all kernel sources for golfu is legacy. So there will be more and more bugs and ugly hacks in flash to fix them.
So I think the only way is to make new kernel based maybe on 3.4 msm source.

Kernel? Pico kernel works on all 4.0+ ROMs, no changes needed.
Most similar device to golfu/pico with kernel 3.4 is protou, but we can't get logs from fbcon on Pico. But K3.0 should work nice, some devices have 4.3 stable on K2.6

I just do not get this - drivers for WiFi should be in staging for kernel 3.0 - wiki page says that

Which chipset does this phone have? Drivers are in staging, one could try to include them in kernel source, enable config, and recompile.

Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 i think has the same modules, take everything WiFi related from their kernel source code for CM10.1 and implement into NOPE, take their device tree, again kang everything WiFi related, build cm10.1.. see if it works...
