I've just bought a sgs i9000 (2nd hand) that was locked on to the orange network and I'm in India..
For some reason the GSM/WCDMA mode doesn't work!!
And I need this mode if I'm to access 3g networks in India!!

Try your settings on APN....Is it correct ?
Yes the apn is fine...I think its something to do with the hardware..going to check it out at the samsung gallery..

hey guys, anyone having problems with iris on galaxy note? mine starts but when i touch the blue thingie, it just says "please wait" over n over again... i checked and i have tts service and voice search installed. cant figure it out, please help

Yep. its was working for . But not that accurate. Anyway another Google's App coming soon just like Apple's Siri..

Since I am lefthanded I wanted to change spen orientation in spen settings. But if I check lefthanded nothing changes. This happens on all tw jb roms availlable on xda. Is there a known fix for that?

Yes, it's a trial Version. It should have worked with it anyway, but settings aren't saved after a reboot. On ls2 there was no effect Tod be noticd.

So my cappy for some reason will not broadcast wifi. It goes active when I turn it on but it says errors with channel,essid, and ad hoc beating set. Ideas on how to fix this? Btw I'm rooted running dark knight v5.5.

Have you tried a newer ROM?
I am running the official version of cyanogenmod 9 straight from their website.

I would try a different kernel. I believe tethering comes from it
