Recently Bought a New X1

Hi all,
I had recently purchased a X1 Mobile in Hongkong and the vendor loaded the english version operating system(Windows version 7) and unfortunately it was a Trial version.It was working fine for the last 90 days and then suddenly it stopped ( THIS VERSION IS A BETA VERSION.THANK YOU FOR USING IT .PLEASE REVISIT THE WEBSITE TO GET A TRIAL VERSION) .So i had given the mobile in the local singapore Service center for SW updgrade .But i received a call from them telling the software cannot be loaded (Cannot detect the Software ) .Kindly someone help me in rebaseline of my phone with the correct OS.

download stock rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=475482) and flash it into your phone... i guess u will need to use SD card method... do a little digging here on forum and ull find lots of guides what to do gl

Under Settings-> Mobile Network -> Edit APN
input cmnet in the first field, leave the rest blank and save.
Also disable 3G connection.
Done

i have a 707 phone also, but would like to switch to european language.
i noticed all 707 roms here are down:

You'll get an English 7004 (WP7 RTM), later just unlock it and upgrade it as you wish.
P.S. remember to flash the phone you need to have it in bootloader mode with the necessary drivers installed, anyway just follow the instruction given by the flash software.
To get in bootloader mode: shutdown the phone and then start it keeping the volume down button pressed.

What means doesn't work for you, if it's an Asia phone you just need to put it in bootloader mode and flash it, nothing to do with your OS version.

[Q] Best Firmware for Lumia 520

Hi everyone.
I bought AT&T's Lumia 520 [RM-915] (unlocked, but branded). Since this is my first Windows Phone, I'm pretty new so here's specifications I found about the phone and firmware.

It is filled with lots of AT&Ts bullcrap apps I want to get rid of, so I thought reflashing is the best choice. But then I've started to realize a sad fact that there is no "naked" firmware for it, but from your experience guys, which firmware would you choose? Which is best and why?
I live in Georgia (small country in Europe) and there is no country specific firmware for us, so I always choose US or global "naked" versions of the firmware.
Also, I've seen some people who already have cortana and I'd LOVE to have her too. Is that possible?

Little trick to uninstall unwanted system app.
Change your system date to year 2200 or more.
Then touch and hold on system app there is a option to uninstall the application.
I.e. Touch and hold on feedback app in setting menu.

Thanks for the answer. I know I can flash another rom, but I don't know which. There are couple of dozen roms and I don't know which is better and why.

You can try to flash 059T103 RM-915 VAR EU IL CV (Unbranded ROM of Israel). However this Product Code is not yet under Cyan Lumia + WP8.1. He is currently Lumia Black + GDR3 WP8.0.

My phone just upgraded to 8.1 and there is Cortana too! and it's awesome. I managed to uninstall those preinstalled apps so I think I'm good.

Galaxy K Zoom 2 (SM-C115L) Flashed with UK K Zoom rom?

Hi,
I've imported a Korean spec K Zoom 2. As far as I can tell, it's identical to a standard K Zoom, but with 16gb internal memory.
Has anyone tried to flash one used one of these and tried to flash it with the standard C115 ROM? The Korean software has the camera sounds locked on - which I find really annoying, and a really tacky boot loader.

I am also looking for a firmware sm-c115l
mine is stuck with the triangle
imposible to find original firmware
I give $ 50 (paypal) in the first that found for the sm-c115l
(Not C115 / C115M / C115W)

Hi,
Even if I'm not a specialist, you should try to get the last official firmware from 2016 (samsung website)
That is true that you will have korean letters on the phone even if you move to English.
Then use the dial pad and enter 319712358
Then if it's a LG U+ branded C115L type 0821
You should be able to access to the hidden menu to activate 4G.
or
Why don't you try to move to C115 international version firmware (post available on this forum)
you won't have anymore korean letters, but I'm not sure you will get 4G.

Hi, I just got on ebay a korean C115L Galaxy K Zoom. I want to root it, but I see people have bricked their phones using the C115 tutorials..
Has anyone figured out how to do it on a C115L? Thank you.
(Mostly I want to silence the camera shutter noise, so if anyone knows how please respond!

I tried the dial pad instructions above and successfully enabled 4G / LTE. However I couldn't receive or make phone calls so had to disable.

which ROM was that ?

I got a second hand note 9 , the device has a clickable charge icon and clickable clock time icon on the main screen , it is android 9 pie version , am wondering what is the name of this ROM , any body know?
the ROM shows phone version N960F while in recovery it is N960N .

thanks for your replay , the problem is I already flashed the phone back to stock framware , and really missed that one , also , I got some disabled functions now on stock , like dual sim card is missed and only one sim is showing up
