I'm 99% on Android right now. The one component left is the Camera. The log for the latest zImage system " all working" but for me it's still crashing the camera app after seconds without ever capturing anything.
Sent from my MSM using XDA App
The camera is just fixed in Android Userland. This is one step but camera driver is still missing at Kernel. As long this is not done there will be no camera.
But anyway nice step we took with latest release.

99% ?
smooth ?
can you tell me specifically what are you using so that you can have all that.
thanks
Userland is the Android system (like Froyo for example) which is common to all phones. It's the part you interact with. The Kernel is a driver layer which is specific to each phone (Topaz, Rhodium, Hero, Nexus one) that controls the hardware.
Like marcydarcy said when the driver is ready, the rest should work. That being said, getting the driver ready is no small task.

yes please.
Here you go, all zipped up and ready to go. Please note that the battery indicated is off and the clock set to 650mhz. I'm using it for daily use at this point. Camera of course doesn't work, battery indicated does work if you turn it on but it's a bit finicky. Seems to affect all XDAndroid builds. I haven't stripped the software down any, planning on doing that another time.
Other then all that, rock solid. Runs all the apps i've tried so far, doesn't lag as long as you don't add a ton of widgets. Same signal quality i got before (flawless everywhere in town.) About as good as it gets with a Pure. Wish i had more RAM and a better touchscreen daily though.
Edit 2 :

http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=37912374925948858197
http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=07997067176339441747
That was difficult enough. XDA needs to modify the timeout period for uploads. Can't upload the archive fast enough.

This is for kernel devs only. The patch itself is useless to those who do not/can not compile their own kernel.
I put together this patch for you guys at the request of a few different members here in the nexus S forum who had saw my patch in the gnex forum. This allows one to force AC charging for any charger that is detected as USB (e.g. many car chargers) and pull the full current the charger can support. It also provides additional security when connecting to public charging stations because by forcing AC charging, USB/adb data transfers are disabled, protecting your data.
Fast charge can be toggled by issuing:
echo 1 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge
and off:
echo 0 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge
Some roms (AOKP) have also implemented toggles.
In addition I have created a toggle fast charge widget that may be used to toggle fast charge on and off right from your home screen:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.incredicontrol.fastchargewidget
For the widget (or any fast charge toggle) to work, you MUST be running a kernel that has this patch implemented.
As a good gesture to support a fellow dev, I ask that if you implement the patch into your kernel, please link to my widget as one means to toggle it. You are of course free to provide other ways to toggle it as well if you so desire.
Kernel devs, if you would like to test the widget yourself to confirm its working, and for convenience of testing, please contact me and I will provide you with a copy. You must show that you are a kernel dev though (i.e. link me to your kernel post so I can match your username).
Here you go. Good luck have fun:

very nice, thanks

I reckon he compiled one for himself.
Its been brought to my attention that the AOKP toggle interferes in some way with the widget. I'm going to contact them and see what's up. I think they may be setting the permissions of the fast charge toggle in an undesirable manner.

I tested this patch out on a test kernel chad sent me. I didn't test to long as wifi was broken with his kernel. Its definitely faster than regular usb charging if your USB can put out more. It takes advantage of the extra juice instead of limiting it, It all depends and what your trying to charge from. I'm just waiting for it to implemented into our kernels. So some real test can be done.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS! I'm a student, and it dreadful to charge my phone from my laptop. Here's to hoping with the patch, I can charge a bit quicker with USB.
Will this hurt our device . Or will it affect the battery in a harmful way ?

I hear you there. Granted I come from a Samsung Fascinate with much more development and ease of development (unlocked boot loader, etc.) But this thing Is getting passed on so I can grab something a little more developer friendly and fun to toy with. To turn on NFC:
1. Make a Backup of rom after install
2. Install stock rom/return to stock backup.
3. Turn NFC on within the stock ROM.
4. Restore back to CM10 and NFC will be turned on.
Your welcome.

This really sucks I was hopping for a really good 4.2 rom for my M. I wouldn't hold my breath with the Sony ZL, while it looks like a great device, you know how Sony LOVE to lock down their phones/tablets. I have the original Tablet S some was able to root, before Sony pushed out the last firmware which left me in the cold.

Dave is having some trouble getting the framebuffer for our qHD panel going in the 4.2 kernel if I understand correctly, but he's working at it. Once that's set we should see some quicker development because CM10.1 is in pretty good shape for the RAZR HD, which shares a lot of our hardware.

No, it really wouldn't. If you want TW then you should have bought a Sammy. TW is a resource hog, much as Sense always was for HTC.
There is a way to edit some files to get that multi Window support working... Someone just have to edit some files and add new command lines or so and it would work... I don't have the link yet but you could use Google to find that there is no need for touch wiz
