SWAP on lg optimus 2x

Is it possible to make a swap partition on our lg optimus 2x?

No one answered me that but i suppose you need kernel support. Also no one told me but i think that cm has that support so you can do it...

And for new BL?

at a simple search on google I found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2100058 so yes it is possible....just a few commands in terminal...have fun
Also it is supported by all custom kernels as far as I know....I tried it few months later and it worked like a charm. The only thing is that I don't know how much it will help you, it depends on what are you going to do with your device

Greetings. I have recently acquired a LG Optimus Black P970, and managed to root it with the superuser thing (V20C). A friend of mine recommend ed me to use the CyanogenMod 7.2 (CM7,2), but he wasn't able to explain me all the advantages that doing this would bring me. So, could someone explain me what are the advantages on CM7.2, and how may I get into Recovery Mode without connecting the phone to the computer? Much appreciated.

Please don't use abbreviations of stuff which i obviously wont understand, RIL? I see that in pretty much every XDA thread but am clueless as to what it is? haha
And will this work perfectly for my optimus 2X P990 on the Network 3 UK?
Seriously, Massive noob to this, only owned this phone for a week and only had blackberries before, Currently only know how to ROOT, install roms and kernels...

you're using CM 7.2 right?? so it means, at least you know how to flash via CWM.

I think is a good idea, the down side though, is that the language used is not English which is known by most people around the world, but other than that, very good

I wish there was a video on how to do a new partition and install the ICS... I am stuck with GB partition, don't want to take a chance in breaking my device. I confess i love my Optimus 2x. :cyclops:

I bricked my phone when I tried the update but I recovered it very easy with a NvFlash Toolkit in the Dev section, very easy, now I'm on DjangoManouche X 1.0 (ics)

Hi all, i just got a Dell S7, and i liked to know which room should i chose.. its seems that all the information is a bit old. i know that the 10.1 or JB are the newest dev, but are they a safe bet?

It depends on what you want.

thanks for your time, i know that you have a lot on your hands. well, the only thing i really don't need is the 3g, everything else is at some point, realy usefull. right now i have intalled r8, a rom based on HC. Its seems bit slow, batery drain with wireless. any help is very apreciated. thanks again, specialy for your woork on so many roms. regards!
