Smoother fonts

Hi guys!
Small question from my side, a week ago I hardresetted my Kaiser because of various reasons. Beforehand, I installed or changed something to get my font to be smoother, like this:

And after the hardreset it changed to this:
(Not my picture, but the font is the same.)
Problem is I forgot how to change it to the smoother font? Could anyone enlighten me? Search didn't give me any results...

Just activate clear type:
Go to Start>Settings>Screen... then tab on Clear Type and activate make sure the check box is ticked...

Transparent Start/Task Bar

notice how the start bars are transparent! Anyone know of a program/reg fix?
a quick google bought up another forum and someone pointing the guy towards WisBar Advance (http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/index.php) although i don't want the wisbar thingy because i'm happy with WkTsk manager and the HTC one
any ideas?

If I may hijack slightly and ask what is the today screen app as I like the layout...? cheers

what rom do you use

hell i finally graduated from the dash to a new tilt i flashed my rom. had problems but im up and running thanks to the wiki and search feature and all the wonderful post. so now im looking for a speedy full featured rom any suggestion. or maybe your top 3 roms and why you chose them please tell me which version. im running a dragon 3 pro rom now. ill play with this phone to get my mind off the dream lol. any suggest please and thank you

I've searched through forums but i wasn't able to find any that asked for this. I'm looking for a replacment part for my diamond, the from home , call back panel.

if i understand you right, you mean that the plastic protection is peeling...
just buy a screen protector that comes with a protection part for this area.

Why did a mod delete it?

The sticky is now re-opened and the semi-useful posts from this thread have all been moved across.
As for why it was deleted, it looks to have been a simple mistake. It happens, we're all human.
Next time, instead of whining (or in the case of a certain disappointing individuals, posting snide comments), someone might want to try actually contacting one of the Mods - if just one person had tried that, this whole situation would've been fixed much sooner and I wouldn't've had to sort through 30 pages of this thread.
