Hello.
I used till now this rom

Now when i want to install another rom, at option "chose zip from sd card" it tells me "No files found" but my card is formated and i have zip file on it.
Where can be the problem?

Hi All
I am using rooted Galaxy S i9000 with XXJP2 ROM. while installing and updating few apps,it fails and shows error"couldn't install on usb storage or sd card" after installation. Have tried to locate smdl2tmp1.asec from location /mnt/secure/asec but coulnt find any.Also .android_secure folder is not on internal SD car, however it is on the external SD and it is empty.
Furthermore I also tried that Unmount SD card - Install - Mount SD Card solution without success.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have MilkyS MOD on my Galaxy S, and I have downloaded the CWM 1.2 patch.
I copied the ZIP file to my SD card, turned off the phone and rebooted into CWM mode.
I chose to install ZIP from SD card but it wasn't there.
Should I have opened it up first or something?
PS: I can't ask this in the MilkyS MOD thread.
Found it.
The SD card contents were inside an "External SD Card" folder.
It went on fine, no probs.

I have installed CWM on my Phone but it showing me just a few options like format SD card, install update from SD card. but it doesnt show me "Install from SD card".
What should i do? Can I try rename any rom to update.zip then install it?

You need other kernel. What version pda do you have ? Dont need rename the rom. You need install a kernel such as semaphore.
Yes of course. You can rename it to update.zip and put it on the internal (!!) sdcard. This should be the root directory when using original "My Files" app from samsung.
Hi guys.
I want to flash the GT-N7000 of a friend of mine but here 's the thing.
I got all i need (raw kernel, philz cwm, rom, gapps etc)
when i boot into stock recovery i can select install from external storage. That gives me the message: failed to mount.
We looked into the phone and tadaa there was no SD Card.
My question is: is it possible to mount / install zip files from internal card? I can access the card trough USB cabel on my pc. I copied all the zip files there but i cant acces it trough the stock samsung recovery.
I hope u guys can help
